Best smash burger in (well, near) Lubbock
My girlfriend and I visited this food truck and we couldn?t be happier. The staff were very friendly and helpful to newcomers,... the prices were reasonable, and last but most importantly the food was DELICIOUS! The quality of the meat and buns is often overlooked and substituted for flashy toppings and crazy names but not here. Sticking to the basics and keeping it simple really didthe trick. Loved the burger.
Worth the drive. Next time I will take pictures! Food: I ordered a double nirvana burger with fries, and got both "good vibes"... style (topped with pico, queso & bacon). My wife ordered a normal nirvana burger with normal fries. Both of us were veryimpressed - the patty was thin and juicy, and the toppings tasted fresh. The only downside to ordering "good vibes" style isthat it made the burger very messy. Ask for extra napkins. Location: It was very easy to find and parking was no issue. Thefood truck is in a fenced off area that has several picnic tables and trees for shade. I work near Milwaukee & 82nd and it wasabout a 15 minute drive. Service & Pricing: Everyone was very nice and the food was ready within 10-15 minutes. (and that waswith 5 people being ahead of us). The price was a little high, but it's worth it to support a local business. All the burgerscame with fries and ran from $11-$15. Read more
