Bread "bowls" are more like bread "plates". They are flat, stale, and cant actually hold much soup. If you're going to pour the... soup into a real bowl and have some stale, crunchy, bread to dip in it these guys are your place. If you want what's advertisedand soft bread that I would suggest trying a diff location. This is said after several times ordering thinking that I just had abad batch. Turns out this is their normal. The bread is barely edible. I took a video of me tapping the bread with the spoon toshow how stale it is (from the sound), but I guess it?s pictures only. ETA: Accidentally ordered at the wrong store, the one on82nd, and the bowl was perfectly shaped, all the soup fit in it, and the bread was fresh and soft. Asked for extra dressing and got it but each container was about 1/4 full. Even with extra dressing, there wasn't enough to... even remotely be considered equivalent to what I would get in store. Read more

Well I don't really like to leave bad reviews, but don't really have a choice, the sandwich itself was good, but the hair that I... found in it, was very disappointing. I had found a piece took it out and said things happen, then I found more and it was withthe bacon deep in my sandwich. This was my first time trying McAlister's and I know things happen, but if I found that much hairin my sandwich, I can only imagine the others.. Perfect lunch or dinner spot. We love trying new sandwiches and salads because they never disappoint. This trip we tried the... chicken Chipotle spud and the regular club sandwich. The spud was huge. I saved half for dinner. Read more
I placed an order on line and picked it up 40 min later. I arrived and they told me they didn?t have a sandwich we ordered. That... was a little annoying but I ordered a different sandwich and watched as they served everyone that walked in after me, includingan entire to go order. I asked to speak to the manager who was the cook. He had long curly hair with a beard and wore no hairnet. He reluctantly came out and sheepishly asked, ?Can I help you?? I reiterated the experience and told him it was completelyunacceptable! He said there was a communication issue and they didn?t hear him say he needed the sandwich. No apology, no, ?Howcan I make this right? Just an excuse. McAllisters train your leadership in basic customer service. There should have been sometype of compensation offered. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back. It?s a shame because the food is good. This is aperfect example of how a lack of basic food safety and customer service training can really cost a company!
