Before you take too much stock in these reviews, keep in mind that people are more likely to post when they are unhappy. I am... an out of towner so I wanted to try something we don't have at home. I placed an order on a Saturday night around 830. I wastold it would be 10 before it got here. Saturday is a busy night so that was understandable. The sweetheart delivery driverpopped up with a smile 10 minutes early. No complaints at all with her. The pizza itself was the Mac n cheese pizza. If you area cheese lover...which I am, you will love it. All the ingredients seemed fresh, the cut was almost perfect and rich...good lordit was rich. 3 slices and I knew I'd have leftovers for the long drive home. In closing, La Bella left me a very satisfiedcustomer. Next year when I return to Lubbock I will definitely be giving them a call. It's unfortunate there's no La Bella inMississippi. I'm a new customer and in the last month I have gone back 5 times. The food is made to order so its always fresh and hot. One... crew member (aka Sky) is taking me on a trip around the menu! Worst place to order EVER!! My whole order was incorrect after a 45 minute wait. I called to let them know & was told it was the... fault of the UBEReats driver for not checking the order before he left. Save yourself the trouble and order from another pizzacompany. Whoever ordered the pizzas in the pic just know your order was at my house and returned to the store for deliveryagain. Read more
I ordered the eight piece wings. I expected them to be Fresh. No problem they weren?t. I?ve had plenty of good premade wings.... Where I draw the line is raw chicken. Salmonella doesn?t taste good. It?s not as raw as some of the other pics I?ve seen. But ifI press the meat and it bleeds that no bueno for me. Read more
The actual food was pretty spot on with the average score at the time of this review (3.9). The crust and dough was cooked... through but not crispy, very slightly browned on the bottom. No complaints about the taste of the food, toppings were wellplaced and the cheese was good quality. Not the best pizza I've ever had but probably the best I've had in Lubbock. If all youcare about is the quality of the food and don't care about the restaurant or their practices then stop here. Unfortunately Iwill not be coming here again or recommending this place to any of my friends due to the practices of the business andowner. You will see a sign that was put up in the restaurant by the owner making what he thinks is a funny joke about thecurrent pandemic. As well, no one in the store wears a mask or social distances. The average number of new Covid cases in thecity is rising and is now averaging 300 a day. My 6 month old daughter is immunocompromised and my Wife is in the at riskcategory. I do not find a flippant attitude towards a pandemic funny. This also makes me question the sanitation standards of abusiness that is run by someone that would publicly joke about this in their restaurant. Read more
Great experience for our 1st visit to La Bella!! Everyone was super friendly. They give options for delivery, order ahead (with... $6.99 1-topping pickup specials), and a couple tables for dine-in! Ambiance is super chill. On to the pizza!!! It wasdelicious. On the greasier side but so worth it! Served piping hot and made to order! We did the half-priced Tuesday special.The drink options are 2L or 20oz bottles. If you're dining in bring your own cups lol (no joke...they don't have any ????) wewill def be back!!! Read more
