This place is nostalgic and cozy and definitely iconic in Lubbock! Go early to avoid the line but even then they have it down so... good you'll be asking "who's Starbucks"?" I highly recommend the food and you can also order ahead online and skip the line!Everyone working there is so knowledgeable and nice and they don't make you feel like you're going to face a firing squad if youdon't know:) Guests range from the starving artist to the doctor and back again. Very good coffee place, nice and quite atmosphere. Plenty of tables and some bar stools too. Nice shaded outside seating too.... Baristas are nice and don't rush you when you are ordering, helpful when you don't know what you want to order and offer plentyof options. Definitely will be coming back again soon. I was very excited to learn today that all the coffee brewed here is made with coffee beans from Daybreak Coffee Roasters. We... tried the Hodgepodge (chocolate, caramel, cream & ice), Bourbon Street (hot & dark), Latté w/ Lavender, Lubbock High(chocolate, hazelnut, caramel, cream & ice) and a blueberry scone.
