Didn't even get my drink. Good thing I was paying with cash. It took a long time for employees to come and take orders. The one... girl was catching up with her friend in the car in front of me took forever to move up. She got to the window and was catchingup with all the employees. Oh my.... really glad we made a stop here. Tge young ladies working were very nice and helpful. Of course we asked for their... recommendations and they suggested the Birthday Cake Dutch Frost and it was a wonderful suggestion. Can't tell you what was init but I do know we ordered it with a shot of expresso, we had to stay up. This was my second time visiting a Dutch Bros and Ilike it. Read more
Final edit: I called the main office and learned they do not make their sodas in house, the pour then from a can. This is... incredibly disappointing to learn. For one, they fill the cup with ice to hide the fact that a 30 oz large is actual only 16 ozof liquid (the same as a medium cup sans ice), but also, this means they are wasting a can as well as the plastic cup. I mean,give me just the can then, at least I can recycle that, here in Lubbock we can't recycle the cups (we can't recycle pete 5, only1 and 2)! The more I learn about this company the more disappointed I become. Added edit: when ordering easy ice, in additionto less ice, you also get less product. The liquid line is about an inch and a half from the top of the cup. But they sure didgo easy ice this time... I don't know if this is a DB standard or just my location but management may want to seriously considersome retraining. So much focus on drive-thru they tend to miss people standing in line. And once they do notice, drinks takealmost as long as if one was sitting in drive-thru behind ten cars. There were only two of us standing in line. The worst Dutch bros in Lubbock. Drive a little further to any other location for decent service. For the second time now this... white jeep truck has sat in the outside lane for someone to bring his drink out. Then they chat for 7 minutes. Cars from theinside lane continue moving thru the line to the point that I, having already ordered, am behind people who are ordering at thewindow. Read more
