Great experience! Celebrating our 19year olds birthday dinner and it was one of the best steaks he?s had here in Lubbock. Worth... the wait. Dani was amazing. Always kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently. She?s the best. Definitely will be back! Read more

Absolutely amazing food! We went for dinner on our date night and I must say I was very impressed with the service and the food!... The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection! I don't like leaving negative reviews, which I probably should do here, but I'm going to rate my experience on a curve based on... the circumstances. First of all, it was 7pm on a Friday night and every restaurant we considered had a long wait. We stayed andwaited at Corralito because they said it would only be 30 minutes. While we waited, they offered us free drinks, so we enjoyeda couple small bottles of Dos XX. A large TV had a game on, so that helped pass the time. Unfortunately our total wait time wasan hour, and we had to remind them we were there. Once we sat down, the waiter immediately took our drink order, left, thenreturned a moment later to let us know the kitchen was an hour behind. Since we had already waited an hour for a table, wedecided to leave without ordering. We didn?t even wait for our drinks. Wish they had told us that before we waited so long for atable. We ended up eating at taco villa, which took 3 minutes to get our food. Read more

We had a great time there, our waitress was very nice and she did try her best to get everything we needed. Service isn?t quite... up to par but I know with more time it?ll get better. Great food and drinks but I?d like to see a sangria margarita eitherfrozen or on the rocks. Overall great experience. Read more

Foods good, service was great and we were seated quickly, and everything was clean. I wouldn't call it Mexican, more like... Mexican inspired, still delicious nonetheless. Decent pricing 4/5 Read more

This place has nice ambiance and is very clean. We started with the sampler platter and the garlic mushrooms were delicious! The... empanadas and the ribs were okay. Ribs were fatty but good flavor. Quesidillas were like what dad used to make. The shrimpcocktail was meh. Missing flavor. The steak was super thin and they only had A1 as a sauce. Meat was tasty but I needed atortilla if they were going to make it so thin. Salsa was pretty but taste was lacking. Overall, it was an okay meal, but willnot be a favorite. Read more

THE SERVICE: We arrived at 2:15pm on a Tuesday afternoon. There was no wait for a table as there were only 3 other tables. It... took about 40 minutes for the food to come out which wouldnt have been too bad a wait, except we were never brought our salads. Our waiter did not offer to refill our drinks ever throughout the meal & we werent allowed to go drinks (I finally got hisattention as we were ready to leave). Our waiter was asking us questions about the menu which was both unprofessional andslightly awkward. (Apparently he didnt know if we got sides with our meal but expected us to know). The hostess looked like shehad just rolled out of bed and 2/3 waiters looked & acted either hung over or high. For such an expensive BRAND NEW restaurant, the employees look completely run down. THE FOOD: I ordered sirloin tacos & paid extra for grilled onions. The taco meat wasmostly fat, the meat itself was very bland & too rare for my tastes (wasnt given the option of how well done they were). Itdidnt come with any toppings at all. No onion, pico, jalapeno, lemon, salsa, cheese, soir cream... nothing. Just too fatty, undercooked, & unseasoned meat with steaned corn tortillas. I ordered grilled onions & paid extra for them to go with the tacos, they were hot but raw, like just tossed onto the serving cast ioron as an afterthought. My husband ordered the serloinsteak. He was not happy with the fact that it was paper thin for how much he paid for it. On top of that it was so spicy hecouldnt even enjoy it. He said it was covered in black pepper. He got one side, he picked steak fries. There were 12 fries &amazingly there were more fries than steak. OPINION: All in all I was not impressed. I spent $54 (which wouldn't be bad exceptfor the service and sad looking plates). This is Texas. We have steak houses like most places have McDonald's. If you're gonnabring your company here & want business, you've gotta have comparable prices and plates that are worth what you're ch Read more
