Ate here with my fiancé and friends for just a calming night out and get together. This was the second time that I have ever... eaten at a Cheddars before but a long time since the last time. The food that we had tasted really good. I had the New OrleansPasta with a beer and everyone else had either a DIJON Chicken and Mushrooms or Chicken Tenders and Shrimp with a drink called?Pain Killer.? Overall the food, the drinks and the staff was nice. I give this place 4 stars because the bathrooms could besomewhat cleaner than they were at the time. I would definitely recommend Cheddars to anyone that ls looking to go out to adecent restaurant and not have to worry about paying an arm or a leg for good food. Read more
We love Cheddars and as we are a military family traveling across country with our two small children, we we?re excited to have... it as our last dinner in Texas. Unfortunately as soon as we arrived it was a disappointment. We asked for coloring papers, theydon?t have any which is fine. We get to our table where no one greets us for over 5 minutes and after we use the electronictablet to call someone over. Someone finally arrives minutes later to take our drink order. I ask if they have any juice and wasinformed that they only have soda, tea, or water and they also don?t have any kids cups so all drinks would be in a large glasswith no lid. We order an appetizer which comes out before we get any of our drinks, fountain or alcoholic. Our alcoholic drinksfinally arrive and all the toppings they were supposed to come with were missing and one of the drinks had a fruit fly in it. Weasked for more chips for our appetizer which we had to ask for multiple times before we ever got them. We got the sirloin andchicken tenders. The steak was surprising delicious but while I am a huge fan of salty food, the tenders were barely edible dueto the salt content, even dipping them in a sweet honey mustard sauce. We saw our waitress for our drinks, to order our food,and to see if our food came out. We never saw her again until she came back and asked ?are you ready to pay??. We saw otherstaff members more than we saw our own waitress. The bathroom literally had feces on the seat where our daughter had to use therestroom. It was overall a bad experience. Excellent! I?m traveling and needed good veggies. I had the kids grilled chicken with broccoli & a cheddars pain killer drink!... Absolutely perfect! The bar person was also very helpful & my waitress made sure I had plenty of everything needed to eat on thego! Second day, ordered same meal, still excellent and Joe F made sure I had everything needed for a meal on the go! Exceptional Service & Food! Read more
When we walked in the hostess was rude to a family of three and a child she told them the wait was 35 minutes the lady stated... she has just called and was told there wasn't a wait. There were plenty of open tables. They sat us next to the kitchen it had ahorrible smell in the restaurant the restaurant was filthy I had to ask to get our booth wiped because there was some sort ofsauce on the seat. We received the wrong order then had to sit and wait to get our meal made according to what we ordered. Thewaitress Debra never came around to check on us my meal was extremely salty I couldn't even eat it. The manager Becca was NOhelp to our concerns she was sitting in the office according to the waitress and took her time coming to talk to us about ourconcerns. There were no apologies for our bad experience nor did the manager Becca come back to see if the issues werecorrected! The menu is smaller than prior to covid. I remember the Cheddar?s I went to in Midland. I never reviewed it. Because I didn?t want to say anything bad. This Cheddars in... Lubbock is FANTASTIC. I got the best Waitress. She was very attentive. We chatted awhile, and when she brought my MontiChristo to me and I took my very first bite? I felt as though I was in Heaven. It was prepared to perfection. I hadn?t gad oneif these Sandwiches in almost 30 years. So it brought back great memories. Read more

Best experience ever. I sat at the bar. my waiter's name was Joe. He was the best waiter I have ever experienced. He had about... five or six customers there but the attention and service he gave me made me feel like as if I was the only customer he had. Myfood was hot and good he made me a delicious drink.
