It was okay. The only complaint we had was the lack of sound baffles in their new building, which seemed to amplify children... yelling, dishes clattering, etc. We decided on Tylenol for dessert. Excellent French fries though. Top notch! Read more
Food was ok. I ordered the ribeye, loaded baked potatoes, Mac n cheese and fried okra. I ordered pickup and all the food was on... the cooler side. Order the steak medium and from the pictures you can tell it was cooked well done. I gave two stars because theoverall flavor was ok Read more

I had not had Hillbilly's BBQ, since before 1999. We lived in Gastonia, and used to at the on closer to our house. I was shocked... to find one near my dad's former job site. It was a blast to the past; tasted and smelled EXACTLY like I recall. Bought abottle of original sauce to take back to the vinegar side of NC. Had no idea we had two styles, until we moved east. Upon arriving, we walk up to the host station. Having never been in this restaurant we were not sure if we seated ourselves or... just wait. A group of hostesses standing there and not one of them acknowledged us. Finally after a few minutes I asked if weseated ourselves or needed to wait to be seated. One girl said wait. I then said OK, we did not know since not one of you evengreeted us. After this little hiccup, I was pleasantly surprised by our wonderful, amazing, hard working waitress! She wasfantastic! Our food was delicious! It came out hot, fresh, and correct. Definitely try the hamburgers! They are huge and have afantastic flavor!! We will definitely visit again! Read more
Great experience. The hostess and server were both super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and came out quickly.... The complimentary hush puppies helped keep our little one occupied and then everything that we ordered was delicious as well -especially the ribs and chicken fingers. Read more
Great dry rub on ribs and chicken. I would hope that the sliced brisket wasn't as dry as the shredded stuff they sell, tasted... like dried out pot roast. Great service from waitstaff. Beer and wine. Read more
