Had lunch here in their new location after hearing so many great things about it online. The food is amazing, the service was... great, and even the owner made time to stop by and visit tables to say hello. My husband loved his gorditas, we shared somedelectable elote, and my tacos were amazing too! I ordered shrimp, al pastor, and the quesabirra. Look, if you want high quality authentic Mexican food, go here. It's right downtown, on the river, has outdoor seating and... beautiful views. But the food is spectacular! We had Street corn - a must-have if you go, and birria tacos, as wells as theAlarm re Mix combo which is a type of fajita plate - but somehow even better. They have been open only a few days but have had abooth at the local food emporium and a spot under the tent at the local brew House too. They finally have their own restaurantand it is totally worth the visit. Read more
No need to go to Bridge street or anywhere else to get excellent and authentic Mexican food. Lowell is fortunate to have there... own little Mexico right here. Sabor Mexicano has an excellent and varied menu everything that we ordered was fantastic and ourservice from Nikki superior. I went this morning after randomly looking for local restaurants. I'm very happy I found this place as it is quite delicious.... The people were also quite friendly. I ordered a steak quesadilla, naked beef burrito, and some elotes. The steak quesadilla wasvery very cheesy. I recommend for any cheese lover. (The photo doesn't show the whole quesadilla as it was already gone.) Thenaked burrito was basically a burrito with no tortilla shell. It was a large amount and quite filling. Finally tried Sabor Mexicano after hearing about it for months and months. It didn't disappoint. We got the ground beef burrito... and beef quesabirria taco (aka dippy tacos). We'll be back soon. Yum???? Read more
We finally got to try out Sabor Mexicano this weekend and they really have incredible food. We ordered the Birria Taco combo... today with double rice as well as the steak burrito and everything from the hot sauces to their customer service wasexceptional, very authentic, and full of so much flavor! Melinda was so sweet too and helped answer my questions regarding someof our family?s food allergies. We already cannot wait to come back! Read more
Have been twice. Everything is good. Homemade guacamole, handmade chips, well seasoned proteins! Go. Stop whatever you?re doing... and go immediately. so So SO good and authentic! Best within 30 miles, easily! Have to go to west side GR or Lansing to getMexican that compares. Read more
