I enjoy the layout -- order, find your seat and wait. Salsa bar for everyone, fill your own water. When the food came out, the... presentation was excellent -- from the drinks to the food. The drinks were decent, some reviews indicated that they tasted likesour patch kids, and they weren't wrong (but that didn't bother me). Unfortunately the food lacks flavor; the guacamole waswithout seasoning, the chips had no salt, the ground beef was cold and flavorless, as was the fish, and the steak had an almostbarbecue taste but was also cold. I ordered Margarita Flight basis the previous reviews. They were probably the worst we ever had and those reviews must have been... paid! We ordered on the rocks and it was so sweet just flavored syrup. And the Margaritas were rimmed with sugar ...were theyrunning out of salt!?? Should have read the warning about their margaritas tasting like sour patch kids before coming here. Our party ordered the... margaritas and sent one back saying it tasted like sweet and sour mix. The manager came out asking why we disrespected thewaitress. We explained to her that we just commented on the margarita and nothing disrespectful to the waitress. The table nextto us even said she was overreacting. We did not know them and appreciate them speaking up. Thank you to whoever you are. Wewill not be back and caution anyone we chooses to dine at this sensitive establishment. And if you do, don't comment that theirmargaritas taste horrible. You might get thrown out. Read more
When you walk in & sometime is shucking & cutting corn, you know it?s fresh! The people were so friendly, love the patio! Where... else can you get Margarita growlers to test & many different salsas! I?ll definitely go back! Loved it!! Read more
Great food tho its a little pricey. Maria is the best! Super friendly. The margaritas were definitely better than your typical... mexican marg but not something to write home about. The doughnuts were absolutely delicious! The gnats at the entrance lightingare definitely a problem that needs addressed. Ate there twice in 1 week sooooo ???????? Read more
My wife wanted me to pick up carry out. We decided on Tahona Kitchen + Bar in Loveland. It was our first time. She wanted... chicken so I ordered 4 of the spicy chicken tinga one being a hard corn shell. I also ordered a chips and Queso Blanco.Unfortunately I get home and unpack our dinner only to find out they gave us the someone else?s order. It was pork with onlycotija cheese on it. The flavor was okay but definitely not what you would expect for $3.50 a taco. The Queso was very good aswell as the hot and mild salsa. These days, to call to complain that you received someone else?s dinner isn?t worth the time andthen to drive 6 miles back to Loveland is disappointing. ???? Read more
We?ve been wanting to try this place for a while, finally got there last night. We ordered our food at the counter and they gave... us a number for our table. Queso came out very quickly and was delicious. Margarita flights were fun and also very good. Thetacos were very underwhelming, I had fish, shrimp, and blackened mahi. Every taco was cold and the shrimp had the smallestportion. My husband noticed the server walking around with two plates of tacos, which I assumed was our order. Ate in with my Family, and thought everything was good. The Queso & Chips are delicious. I had a Steak, Maui, Spicy Chicken... and Shrimp Taco. Each one was good. House Frozen Margarita was spot on and did the job. If you order the Donut holesdefinitely choose the Caramel. The chocolate was a little too thick, made dipping sort of hard. If I had one gripe it was thatwe had to keep paying for things as we went, we couldn't just start a tab and pay the whole thing at the end (buying each roundindividually).
