I've seen this establishment mentioned on Facebook several times & today I FINALLY decided to make the trip downtown to try it. ... I'm so upset I didn't try it sooner! I think "hidden gem" is quite accurate. I travel to Louisville frequently and have been meaning to visit The Salad Chic based... on the good reviews. If you are looking for fresh, healthy, delicious salads and soups for lunch, this is a first class ticket! AMAZING salads and even better customer service! Every time I go in there, the owner is just so friendly and upbeat, it is so... refreshing!! There are so many options to choose from and every combination I have tried has been so delicious! A hidden gem, the Salad Chic is a pick-you-toppings salad place with fresh ingredients and plenty of toppings to choose from.... They like to pile up the ingredients so I always get a ton of food for the price. They also have assorted teas and drinks, aswell as soups and wraps. I really enjoyed meeting the owner and her family. It's a true family place that treats people like apart of their own. Love it! Read more
Got a delicious, colorful salad for $10 which included heaping portions of 5 toppings! Service was fast, the food was DELICIOUS... and I actually had too much food for one sitting... a SALAD! So glad that I googled around and stumbled on The Salad Chic on my recent business trip to Louisville. I was craving veggies... and this hit the spot! I got a salad with plentiful lettuce, veggies and other toppings I picked and promptly inhaled.
