Ordered curb side pickup. After checking in and watching the 4 employees all sit on their cellphones and heads down. Then,... watching 3 other people walk in and out with their orders, I finally went inside to get my order. The boy at the counter wasn'tvery friendly. Got home and one of two pizzas was wrong. Well this place has gone down hill. I don't know if it's new owners, new management or what is going on. We have ordered from... here for 17 years. The past three months every pizza is takes me back to high school. That funky cafeteria pizza you ate onceas a freshman, then packed your lunch on pizza days. Dull lifeless pizza, the crust is flat and and the taste has changed. Thepizza slices even seemed smaller. Total let down. The price was the same though. I order from Fern Creek Papa John's all the time because they are consistent with providing hot and fresh food. Every time I... order, my pizza is always hot and fresh and they always put just the right amount of sauce on the pizza. I ordered PapadiaSaturday and the crust looked just like the crust on the commercial it, was perfect! Not all Papa John's locations provide thesame quality of service and food but I know for sure that Fern Creek does and I would recommend them if you are looking fordelicious fresh hot pizza! My wife had just finished having an MRI. She ordered stuffed crust pizza online. We picked it up but it did not have pepperoni.... They locked the door behind me for closing time. They unlocked the door. The lady explained that pepperoni did not come throughon the order. She restarted the oven and in 10 minutes we had the pizza. She went the extra mile for a customer. I wrote thisstory on Next Door app and urged Fern Creek folks to get their next pizza there and thank her on our behalf. Others commented onthis above average store. 100 people have reacted so far. I know this is Papa John's and not a fancy all-organic local iconic restaurant, but our recent experience was great. I... fat-fingered my order and had it delivered to the wrong address. The supervisor Elizabeth and also a Hunter who worked therewere so polite and made the situation more-than-right. Just excellent customer service which I didn't expect; they really wentabove and beyond. Hard to receive that type of service and not leave a positive review. I don't think Papas is the same since Papa got pushed out. We got a Works. It was not quite as tasty and more expensive than... we remembered. The dough was not very pillowy as advertised. So many choices and new pizza companies like Jet's are providingbetter pizza better ingredients. New PJ needs to raise his game, not his prices. Read more
