My friend and I went for the first time today. We are always excited to try new coffee shops. She got a Chi latte and I got a... white chocolate latte. Mine was very good but my friend said hers was bitter. She didn't want to say anything but I hate that itwould be a waste of money for her. I went to the girls working and asked what they might be able to do and one just laughed atme saying all she could do was add sugar. I don't know anything about Chi as I don't like it. I told them this and they made mefeel stupid. They weren't helpful or accomidating yo at least try to help me make it better for her. Mind you they weren't rudejust not helpful at all though I should expect that from kids that obviously don't want to be there much less make it a goodexperience for a new customer. I just threw the drink away and we left. We will not be back. Being nice and trying to helpsomeone doesn't cost a thing but it's like a needle in a haystack these days. I've been visiting this location for years, the donuts are typically delicious and the staff are helpful and friendly. The... reason for the lack of stars is lack of consistency. I typically visit early in the morning, and I've arrived multiple timeswell after the advertised opening time to locked doors with no explanation. It's also a regular occurrence to arrive and findout none of the advertised specials are ready, and won't be for 30+ minutes. It's a shame for such a great spot, but Idefinitely second guess going these days. Read more
It's a little difficult to find & get to, but it is well worth the effort. The donuts are delicious, coffee is good, & the... service is friendly. The interior is done in the the trendy industrial style, everything is clean, & well maintained. Theprices are higher, but the donuts & pastries are above average. Definitely a place to visit. Tried this for the first time today and it was amazing! My group of 3 ordered a cold brew, black coffee, and a mocha. Everything... tasted really good, and they even sell Good Folks coffee which is one of our favorite coffee bean brands. We got a few glazedcake donuts and a chocolate covered one. They all looked delicious! And I love the interior! I randomly found it on Googlemaps, and wasn?t sure what to expect, but it?s so nice! The large windows, the string lights, the brick walls?so cute andabsolutely love it! There?s also additional seating upstairs that is available for rent, which is a nice touch, and a goodamount of outdoor seating. Great service and products on my visit today! I had a student with me who has a hard time making choices, and the employee... working described all the donuts for him and patiently waited while we figured out our order.
