Only giving it a 4 star based on past experiences. The last 2 or 3 visits progressively got worse with last Friday being the... worst yet. Service and good were lackluster. Good seemed microwaved and over cooked. Bowl of gumbo was more like a cup butoverall was the best part of everything. Food looks pretty in pictures i took but was not good at all and neither were thedrinks. I had a shell sitting in plain sight on top of the lobster and shrimp stuffed cod. I removed it and kept eating until hehad a blue string in his bite of my food. We left it on the table paid and went to Harry's Rooftop. Wished we had just wentthere first. Read more

My first time in and I’ll say I thoroughly enjoyed it! Not crowded at all which probably contributed to the excellent service... but I was with large party. The service was friendly, efficient and correct. I think everyone appreciated that- large or smallparty. The food came out hot and was plated well. The dining experience overall was very nice! They did a great job. Didn’tget five stars bcz there was a salad snafu but all in all, I highly recommend. Read more

The food was delicious. I had the market trio which came with salmon, shrimp and crab cakes well. My wife had Shanghai seafood... sampler... Let's not forget about the jumbo as a starter was on point. Read more

I was a little disappointed. The soup was too thick, the steak was not cooked right, the drinks were just ok. I expected more.... The service was good and the place was packed. It would be a good place for a family dinner. Read more

What a wonderful date night we had a Mitchell's! As always the grilled oysters in their delicious garlic butter sauce drizzled... with melted parmesean cheese and toasted sourdough was the perfect start to our meal. The market Trio with a Maryland crabcake, seasoned salmon, and skewer of jumbo grilled shrimp was simply sumptuous! The Trio included their corn relish, redskinsmashed potatoes, and asparagus as accompaniments to the seafood and was very satisfying. Couple all that with artfully craftedcocktails and an attentive server and you will have a similar experience like we did! Read more

Mitchell's Strawberry ???? Mule made my Christmas dinner amazing!!! We had the Dynamite Duo and the Lobster stuffed Cod. We had... a 7:15 reservation but never laid eyes in a hostess until 8pm. We understood it was Christmas but that was unacceptable. Especially if we had chose to leave we would have faced a $25 per person charge for not keeping the reservation. Our waiter wasamazing and apologized for wait. But a reservation is a reservation!! We will definitely try again because the food was worthit. Read more

This place was pretty good, the food was a bit over priced in my opinion considering the small portions that you got for each... meal… My dad ordered lobster and spent $30 for two pieces of slim 3 inch long lobster tails, which were delicious but rathersmall. I ordered the lobster and shrimp stuffed cod, which came out salty and was not what I had hoped for. The fresh lemonadeand spinach dip appetizer was the best thing they served us. I say save your money and go elsewhere, the rest of my table didnot have many complaints so maybe it was just a rough night. Read more
