We each ordered a soup and sandwich, the sandwich was ok, not great. The chicken noodle soup didn't taste good, the potato soup... was good but just barely warm, not hot. The worst part was that the spoons that were brought to us had someone else's soup onthem.. gross. It was a disappointing experience. I did not take time to tell anyone about the problems because I was on a lunchbreak and had to get back to work, so in all fairness I did not give the opportunity for the issues to be addressed. $32.49 that all ended up in the trash. Terribly disappointed. .While traveling we stopped at Jason's Deli #760 at 4600... Shelbyville Rd Louisville KY before stopping at our hotel for the evening. Ordered Club salad with salmon also with egg andavocado, broccoli cheese soup, garden veg soup and a new York Yankee sandwich. The salmon was so dry it was inedible as was allof the meat and cheese on the sandwich. The salad was missing egg and avocado.. The soup obviously had been sitting all day andwas as thick as sludge. Very dirty restaurant. The floor is very dirty litter. Dust everywhere, to be honest, they have big problems with cleanliness.... Even when the food was brought to us, the plates were untidy and dirty. The presentation is very awful. The taste of food isalso terrible. Only the salad bar was delicious. I like it a lot. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The place is like a deli or diner ambiance, so don't look too much into... it. The best for me was the salad bar, albeit it's a one trip thing, but they encourage you to load up and I can guarantee youthat you will be satisfied. It is very complete and great tasting ????????? To test, I also ordered steak side with my saladand it was good. But the salad by itself would have been perfect as well. I wanted to try their seafood gumbo, it is very good.More shrimp than anything but good flavor and hearty portion bowl. I did like it a lot too. You can get unlimited ice cream andsoda. First time here. Very impressed. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I got a salad Togo built off the salad bar. They build it... for you, but u direct them how you and what you want in it. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. It was also a very good size,even for the price. Was happy with my entire experience. Read more
Best salad bar ever! The soups and sandwiches were pretty darn good, too. You won't regret giving Jason's Deli a try.
