Always loved the gumbo here but the last several times quality has not been what it used to be. Secondly having to call multiple... times to get an answer only to be told that carryout ordering isn't possible and to just come in to wait. This place is fire. I love the location in the highlands plus it's so homey it literally looks like somebody's house and is so... welcoming. The service was amazing they let us sample everything first. And the food is perfect I can't believe the food isn'tmore expensive! I definitely found my new favorite restaurant ???? Read more

This is only getting a one star because I couldn?t click and leave 0 stars. They either need to up their game or get out of the... food business. We were so excited to find a Cajun restaurant in Louisville but it was mediocre at best. The jambalaya andwhite bean chili were very bland tasting and they only had hot sauce for seasoning. This place doesn?t even compare to Gumbo YaYa and Bourbon n Toulouse in Lexington, KY.
