Reviews for Farm To Fork Catering in Louisville, KY
My wife and I hired F2F to cater our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! The food is amazing, the staff is... extremely hardworking and friendly, and all of our guest LOVED the food. We are still receiving compliments a month past ourwedding now, that's how good the food was. We can not recommend them enough! Read more
I was so glad I stumbled across this pop up brunch online! This is a small gem hidden in the Portland area of Louisville KY. ... The food is sourced from local farmers and is fresh as can be. Everything was prepared to order in top notch fashion. I had thepleasure of eating the French toast with the bourbon maple syrup along with fried potatoes and fresh fruit! The presentation wasamazing and the staff was super friendly. The hipster decor filled the room with intrinsic art pieces and a small library forkids or avid readers. In addition to the cool atmosphere I was able to wash down all of that good food with a tasty mimosa. Totop it all off they threw in a free toasted stroodle that was super yummy! Great job guys! Cant wait to stop in again Read more

A great place to grab a bite to eat in the Portland neighborhood. Great food, great staff, and a super open atmosphere. We had a... great time stopping in and having a couple of grass fed roast beef sandwiches that were fantastic. A great addition to thecommunity. Definitely visit if you're in the neighborhood. I've gotten to work with Sherry & Farm to Fork Catering as a venue rep, and had the pleasure to sample her food as a guest at... events. When I worked as a venue rep, Farm to Fork was a pleasure. They showed up on time and helped me think of things I hadn'tthought of...saving me potential embarrassment in front of clients. As a guest...WOW...the food is so delicious every time.Their biscuits are to-die-for, and I LOVE their bars. Salad can be so boring, but I'm always impressed by their salads andhomemade dressings. My husband hates grits but raves over Farm to Fork's grits...and they know how to cook grass-fed beef andkeep it flavorful and tender, which is sometimes a challenge for other caterers! Maybe most importantly, I love that when I eatFarm to Fork' s food I'm confident I'm also supporting local farmers. You can't go wrong with this business. Read more
What a disappointment! We chose Farm to Fork because we are foodies that appreciate high quality locally sourced organic food.... It was important to us that our wedding food was above and beyond your average wedding food. When we originally met with Farm toFork we met with Clayton (who is awesome), he completely understood our vision and what we wanted. Our tasting was amazing, weate absolutely everything because it was so delicious! Our wedding was a destination wedding and he was so great about workingwith our schedule. He was the only person I dealt with at Farm to Fork until two months before my wedding when he told me he wasleaving Farm to Fork, but would still be the chef at my wedding. That's when everything fell apart. A month before our event thecatering manager (Sarah) and even the owner (Sherry) had no idea what was going on. I got an email saying that Clayton would notbe the chef at my wedding, then one a couple hours later saying that he would be the chef at my wedding, they didn't know whatmy layout was, they had no clue what was going on pertaining to my wedding at all. They didn?t have a copy of the contract Isigned with them (I had to send it to them). They also told me (weeks before the wedding) that the mixologist that we flew outto meet with to develop our signature drinks was no longer with them, and shocker they had no idea what my signature drinkswere. They did arrange for us to taste our drinks two days before our wedding with the new beverage manager. But at the actualwedding our drinks and food were completely different than what we agreed upon. The steak was terrible (and I am a steak girl),due to the poor cut of meat. The drinks were straight alcohol, tasted NOTHING like either of our tastings. My new Father in lawwas served last (and cold food). To top it all off the catering manager called me the day before the wedding asking where peoplewere sitting, telling me that people were missing, when not only had I sent her all the Read more
We loved working with Sherry and the team, and our guests were crazy about the food! We really appreciated the healthy, fresh... cuisine and the flexibility in designing a menu that supplemented the "farm to table" style with some Middle Eastern favorites, including a family recipe. Great work, great eats! Another major perk is Sherry's "can-do," relaxed working style. We gotmarried on a hayfield with no infrastructure, and Sherry did not look at us like we had six heads when we indicated that wewanted her to feed 200 people there. Definitely helped keep the anxiety low! Read more
My wife and I hired them to cater our wedding after doing a few tastings, which were very good. However, as the wedding date... started to approach, we started having communication problems with our point of contact. Things were not looking the way theshould have, on paper, and the person was not responding to us in a timely manner. So, we talked to the owner, and afterlistening to all of Our concerns, assured us they we could speak to them going forward and all of the issues would be taken careof. We were told that they had catered events at our venue before and everything went fine. On the wedding day, I take a bite ofmy dinner and the first thing that enters my mind, this is not hot. None of the food was. I brought this to the owner?sattention and they said that there was no way for them to keep it hot in the kitchen. So, they knew this would be a problem, never brought it to our attention, and made no effort to address it. They could have prepared for this or told us this might bean issue. Instead, they did nothing and I guess hoped for the best. That is just a horrific way to plan for a situation. Thiswas the most important meal of my life and the memories of it are awful. I wouldn?t recommend Farm to Fork to anyone and will beforever disappointed. Read more
