This place lives up to its legend. I heard good things about this pizzeria from anyone I'd talk to in Louisville, but being from... the generation of convenience we never had cash on us! When we finally visited and had a pie, the experience was great! Call inorders are almost impossible, and you can't get delivery--you have to show up! This is not the place for frills, just GOODpizza. Remember: BRING CASH! Go right up to the counter, place your order, pay and have a seat. Don't forget to grab your platesand silverware! Drinks are available at the next counter, paid on a seperate till. The procedure is a little different than youmight be used to, but do as the Romans do. Pizza is so good that its hard to stop eating. They have ice cold draft and bottled beer served in frosted mugs. The salad and... ingredients on them are made with fresh premium produce. Not a fancy place but its been in business for decades and will be fordecades more if they stick to the magic formula that keeps people coming back. Read more
This place is legendary in south Louisville. They are a little worse for the wear inside, and past due for a refresh. They do... serve a good pizza, the crust has a nice crunch to it and the sauce has plenty of flavor. They're price points are good- beaware it is a Cash Only establishment. Pizza was really good. They have a retro vibe that is a really cool atmosphere. Maybe put up some Bonnie and Clyde memorabilia,... it would be a cool addition to this place. Also I think a good investment would be to put a little money back into the place. Itwould really help with the longevity of the building. Other than that I really enjoyed the pizza and I'll definitely be back. Read more
