Spacegrass is the only beer I want to drink nowadays. It spoiled me. We got growlers of it to take on vacation because I knew I... wouldn?t want anything else! Lots of room three different buildings. Beer bar in the big building you?ll see people playinggames and eating food truck fare (you can bring anything you want to eat here or have a pizza delivered) kids and dogs welcomehere. Bourbon bar has a great selection and is kid/dog free. The social room has dart boards and another great patio (can berented for events for a very reasonable price). The last several times we went I wore my RX sunglasses saying ? oh we will beback well before dark? cut to me trying to walk home at 10:30 in sunglasses. We just have so much fun and end up meeting suchcool people! Read more

Stopped by here to taste new brews. The service was great, the place itself is beautiful. Its inside a church, reminds me of... another brewery in Colorado Springs that did the same. This is better though because they have a beautiful ourdoor deck area aswell. The beers are delicious- I tasted their NE IPA which smelled amazing and had a beautiful color. I recommend this place fora taste of good local beer with a great ambiance. Read more

Super chill place to enjoy interesting beers with friends. There?s something about drinking in an old church that just brings me... back to my Catholic schoolgirl days. The only way they could really improve this place would be serving food. That said, I?mpretty sure they?d have been perfectly ok with me having pizza delivered to my table. Read more

A pretty spot in an old church, 3rd Turn has twenty brews on tap with a selection of wines and bourbons to choose from, as well.... The beer list contains ten in house brews and ten guest tap. I enjoyed a New England IPA and an Irish Red while we played gameswith our friends. They ordered in food to eat, which is quite popular by the brewery patrons. If you are in the Jeffersontownarea of Louisville, give this spot a try to enjoy a lovely brew. Read more

When I moved to J-Town earlier this year I wasn't aware of 3rd Turn Brewing. My wife mentioned it because she drove by when she... had to renew her license plate and it immediately piqued my interest. Imagine my delight when I find out out it's only 1.2miles from home. 3rd Turn is located in an old church, and is easy to get to in downtown Jeffersontown. It's a couple doorsdown from the Jefferson County Clerk office and at 1.2 miles from home, a very easy walk for me. :D There is limited parking inthe street, and much more behind the building. The partially shaded patio behind and along side of the building is a greattouch with a number of tables for your outside brew enjoying pleasure. A stairway leading out of the back of the building willtake you to the parking lot. The interior is very open and spacious. High-top tables line the sides of the interior, as wellas some very comfortable leather couches and seats with coffee tables. Dimly lit and cozy, this is a GREAT place to hang out, drink great beer, and get comfortable. As if there's not enough seating between the patio and the front of the house, there isadditional seating in the back. A neat feature, in the back left corner, is the floor is cut away so you can view themachinations of the entity that is 3rd Turn. 3rd Turn doesn't have any food service, but there are a number of local eateriesthat will deliver food to you, which means you can sit and drink great craft beer longer. Let's face it...how many times haveyou had a few beers and said "MAN! I'm hungry! I wish I had something to eat!"? With that I've saved the best for last. Thereal reason you come in the door. THE BEER. 20 (TWENTY) craft beers on tap. Generally they're pretty well divided between3rd Turn brews and local brews. Everything is listed on a big-ass chalk board behind the beer tap fountain of youth. Makingthe selections for your flight is as easy as writing numbers down on a piece of paper. The staff is VERY Read more
