The pizza and salad were excellent!! The crust was New York style and they were generous with toppings. We let the pizza sit in... the box for 20 mins before eating, but the bottom of the crust was still very crisp. Impressive. The staff was very friendly andthe food was ready fast for takeout. Meh. Little Caesars has a superior product for 1/3 of the price, and that's just sad. The crust on the pizza had a nice texture... but I'll pass on the rest of it. Garlic knots just ok. Apple pie is not a pie, it's a dessert pizza and it's lacking the apple.The most thinly shaved apple slices you've seen which translates to mush under the excessive caramel sauce. The food was good. The food poisoning was not. Had a friend visiting from out of state with her one year old and we gave this... place a chance. Our last day together was spent all three sharing the restroom. We reached out and the owner never returned ourcall. There is so many good restaurants in Louisville. Located at the loading docks behind Verde. Shopey's is in the same building, you just have to drive around back and climb the... stairs to the loading dock. Don't be intimidated by the prices, you're getting the freshest pizza in Louisville, hand craftedby real pizza enthusiasts who aren't afraid to elevate pizza to new heights. I personally recommend their chicken, bacon andranch pizza. The first taste transported my tastebuds to pizza nirvana and each slice afterward took them to the next higherlevel. The Family size had 8 slices, so 5 more levels of heavenly delight to explore for lunch tomorrow! I thought aboutsharing them and then rembered that I don't know where anybody lives anymore, so I wrote this review instead. We visited Crystal Springs Brewery in Louisville and a lady came in with a Bills mask on. I had to say hi to her since we're... from upstate NY! She was bringing in a huge pizza order from Shopey's and we mentioned that we haven't found a good NY sliceyet. She said that her boyfriend's pizza shop was the best NY style around so we gave it a try. I hardly write reviews, and Ihave yet to write a review on the "best" NY pizza in CO -- this is it. It is so close to what we ate growing up in NY and that'sno exaggeration! The owner is from outside of Syracuse, NY so you know it's legit. Our slices were huge and DELICIOUS, an actualNY slice!
