We booked through AirBnb. Mandy failed to ever communicate with us as far as checking in. I ended up calling AirBNB, they tried... to reach her with no luck. We were left to scramble and find a place an hour before check in time. The little bistro advertisedbeing open, but no one was there all day. While looking for another spot to rent, I stumbled upon a review from last month thatMandy had done the same thing to another couple, and just failed to ever communicate with them. Beware! Read more

Very quaint bed and breakfast, although not really any breakfast, the owner, Guy Crouch, had the coffee ? pot ready and had... snacks for the guests. Love the room decor! Owner was very nice, met up with us to allow us to check in early since had awedding to attend. Definitely recommend staying here if ever need to visit the area. This was about 15 minutes from our venuehowever, had the highest ratings by far from closer places (that were very poor rating's at same price or more)! Read more

We had a very cute room! This is a very cozy little bed and breakfast with a ?French? theme. It?s located in town of some odd... 3200 people and has a very warm atmosphere! We loved the layout of the hotel and look forward to revisiting in thespring/summertime!!! There is also an amazing French restaurant affiliated that you must look into as well! We will be back andwould definitely recommend you give eagles nest a try! Read more

We stayed one night December 2021. We were promised connecting rooms. Ours was on 3rd floor our friends on 2nd floor. Never once... were we greeted by any kind of management. Our room had trash on the floor and someone?s leftover food in the refrigerator. Thecommons area was about 8x8 square foot area on second floor and the coffee pot in the hallway. Single serve boxes of cereal wastheir idea of breakfast?no milk. The town was dead and we had to drive out of town to eat. We enjoy going to different bed andbreakfast but this is definitely a thumbs down ???? Read more

The food was great I have been there two times . The first time I ate the Poutine and the next time I had the Bacon Spinach... Quiche. Chef Caleb came out and talked to me about the food and how it was served. Loved it . Read more

Would not stay again. Initial impression: B&B was very cute and tidy Customer Service: staff was very rude. Communication is... non-existent with this place, they will not return any phone calls once they have you booked. I felt like they didn't want mestaying there, they only cared about getting their money. Breakfast: although it is much better than your typical continentalbreakfast, you will have to compete with any customers coming in for breakfast so get there right away or you won't getanything. Be sure to reiterate that you are a B&B guest or the owner will constantly tell you to pay for breakfast (our waitresswas nice though). Bed: I'm not sure this mattress has ever been replaced. Very squeaky and hard. Ceiling fan sounded like itwasn't fully secure, loud and wobbly. Ice machine was broken. Read more

Had Lunch in the winery portion and it was good. pleasantly well prepared and well plated with good options available. While we... waited for lunch we did a little wine tasting and the wine is still as good as we remembered. This is my favorite little gem onthe river with a great scenic road to follow, which I highly recommend driving along on the way to this place. Read more
