Nice restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I came here for Brunch with bottomless mimosas. The mimosas were... plentiful and the staff was really attentive to make sure my cup was not empty. I had the pastrami sandwich, the bread wasbuttery and the sandwich was so delicious. I also tried 3 desserts. The Chocolate cake was great, the Ice cream sandwich veryunique and had a good bite, and lastly the panna cotta was quite good with the almonds. Read more

This spacious restaurant on Los Gatos Blvd next to Whole Foods is one of those restaurants that we want to go back to. Specially... due to these reasons: - Spacious as already mentioned and very friendly service. - Not that hard to get a reservation unlikewith similar restaurants where it’s hard to find a table on short notice. - Food & drinks are served quickly, no infinitewaiting as with comparable restaurants in the area - A carefully curated menu that’s short but every item in it is somethingyou like to try out. I hope they keep it like that and rotate it with seasonal ingredients available in the area in abundance. -of course the food is tasty. We ordered salmon, roasted cauliflower and Spanish style octopus as main items. All tasted good. Read more

Amazing dining experience. The staff was very good and attentive. From the hostess to the bartenders to the waiter to the... manager. Not easy these days. Kudos to the staff. The grilled octopus, hamachi, and fried tomatoes are must! Of course don’tforget to start off with a delicious cocktail. Unfortunately, I was so caught up with the food that I forgot to take morepictures. We celebrated a birthday and the waiter acknowledged the birthday girl as soon as we sat down. Best of all, we gotthe best birthday desserts platter ever. This will be my go-to restaurant for birthday celebrations. Read more

Came here for dinner and the food was a bit disappointing. We ordered the hamachi crudo, roasted cauliflower, olive oil poached... Spanish octopus and the gruyere cheese Parisian gnocchi. Hamachi was very fresh but it was drenched in an over acidic sauce.Roasted cauliflower was great, very tasty and generous portioned with enough to share with a large group. I was expecting theoctopus to slightly chewy but ours very mushy as if it was old. Lastly we thought the gnocchi would be light and airy on theinside, with maybe slight browning on the outside to give it a thinly crunchy texture but like the octopus, it was just mushy.Real shame because the mushroom sauce was great. Dinner might if been a let down but I would come back for the welcoming staffand try the brunch menu. Read more

Ww had not planned to go to this restaurant, but are so glad we did! The service was spot on, friendly, and attentive. Wine... selection is good and is priced as expected. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. For appetizers we had Burrattaand Beets (served warm), Wild Mushrooms (with a sauce that was to die for), Red Curried Califlower. Entrees ranged from porkchops & 1/2 chicken to duck with pasts and butternut squash risotto. All were excellent in presentation, taste, and texture.Shared birthday dessert of churro and brownie, both flavorful but not too sweet. Read more

Saturday lunch after browsing for many places, decided to give this place a go. Conveniently next to Whole Foods and the place... is HUGE! Sat right away outside - such a peaceful day! One of our favorites were beet salad, meatball sub, schnitzel was goodbut need some sauce, the pork cracklings were quite delish - loved how it crackles, and the drinks were solid. Would definitelycome back and bring others Read more

We're moving from San Francisco to Los Gatos soon and were sad to leave the city of so many great restaurants. But as soon as we... heard about Shepherd and Sims we got infinitely more excited for life in the burbs. We're huge fans of Forthright and cannotwait to be regulars at Shepherd and Sims. The space is huge and gorgeous. Beautifully designed and decorated, our server Reubenwas wonderful and despite slowness to begin with (their network was down) he took good care of us. Food was fantastic, highlights were corn bisque, octopus, beef and pork albondigas, and fried green tomatoes. Do not miss out on the old fashionedon tap! Can't wait to come back, bring all our friends and try more dishes. And of course, enjoy happy hour at the bar! Read more
