Visited with friends after hiking. The service is good. It didn?t take long for our dishes to come. And the food is really... great! I ordered turkey sandwich and vegetable sandwich with French fries. During eating, coffee is always been refilledquickly. There are also special menus writing on the whiteboard. Loved it! I didn't expect this place to have vegetarian options but they got a lot. I ordered vegetable roma. They gave a... special herb mix paste along with it which was delicious and the highlight of the dish. The price of the items felt acceptablefor their meal portion size. Came here for brunch on a Thursday afternoon. The service was fast and the staff was attentive. I recommend the berry yogurt... smoothie if you want something refreshing and nutritious! The portions were huge and potatoes were crispy. You have a choice ofcoffee cake on the side and it was served warm. I did feel like the food could use a little more seasoning. Came for a Saturday brunch. Amicable staff and quick service. No wait time and busy café. Strawberry guava mimosa was decent... and served nicely (not a flute glass thankfully). Excellent breakfast / comfort food. Potatoes are well cooked (never under done). I had the corned beef hash and eggs. The... corned beef was perfectly cooked. You can get this kind of food at many places, but few will cook it as well as they dohere. I love simple tasty comfort food and that's exactly what I got here. I'll definitely be back. Read more
Came here today for breakfast. It was outstanding. The restaurant was full of customers but we were seated quickly. The menu had... a tremendous variety. Soufle omelette is a great value. Comes with a choice of bread (bagel/white bread/wheat bread/sourdough/raspberry coffee cake... etc), and fresh fruits. The service is quite timely, and the ambience and cleanness is okay. This place often has a long waitlist so make sure to come early. Read more
Overall, the food was delicious and fairly priced given the location and generous portions, and I'd definitely recommend Los... Gatos Cafe for comforting, classic brunch fare. This is clearly a very popular brunch spot, but we came here this Sunday morningat 10 AM in a group of 7 and were seated within 10 minutes. I got and loved The Scramble ($15) -- bacon, green onions,mushrooms, and herb potatoes scrambled together with three eggs and topped with hollandaise sauce -- which came with the choiceof a bakery item (I chose the English muffin, which tasted fresh and nicely buttered).
