Cons: Food was pricey and I feel that I didn?t get quality, the ramen broth tasted off, smelled like dirty water, it was really... bad ,they should stop selling ramen and focus on sushi , talking about sushi , didn?t have flavor specially the tuna. Didn?tfeel fresh and I?m really disappointed. Pros: The only thing that I liked about the restaurant is that looks really clean ,bathroom are surprisingly clean , service is super fast , waiter was such a wonderful server. And staff arefriendly conclusion: Sadly I won?t be back , there?s a lot restaurants in the area. I spent same money that my usual fancyramen spot (Afuri), I?m sorry guys for the bad review but you have a such a wonderful place but food it?s not that good. Read more
Stopped by for sushi at this place. This is inside a mall in Japan Town. Sushi was great and decently priced. They have a robot... delivering food to your table which was super cool. I posted robot video as well. Read more
I like the overall aesthetic of the restaurant but disliked just about everything else. I got a volcano roll and my partner got... the dragon roll. The sushi was just overall really bland and it tastes off. The texture of the volcano roll was gross and theamount of crab on top of the dish was enough to make me a little queasy. According to my partner, the eel on the dragon rolltasted off. I'm honestly really disappointed because I had hoped for at least somewhat decent Asian food when I decided totravel to Little Tokyo. The service was also somewhat meh. Not awful but considering how much of a disappointment the food was,the meh service really just added to the whole negative experience. Read more
I came here the other day because I was craving both sushi and ramen. I was pleased with how fast the service was and the staff... were very friendly and professional. The sushi was really good and the ramen was okay. The food was a bit pricey. I enjoyed theatmosphere of the restaurant and a vaccination card was not asked for at the door. I recommend trying their crazy shrimp rolland Unagi shrimp roll. Read more
Zencu has always been a great restaurant to eat at, been coming here for a long long time. I was introduced to this place by a... good friend and now I am happy to introduce Zencu to friends and family. + Food was fantastic and tasty, no regrets with whatwe ordered. I Always happy to try different items each time I visit. + Service was great, we were taken care of by the greatwaiting staff. Kudos to the staff for being so kind and helpful. + Atmosphere was lively and busy, great place for dates or toget a bite with friends and or family. + They validate parking. - Nothing to complain about here. I?m a huge fan of sushi (as you can tell by visiting my profile), and I?ve been to MANY awesome sushi spots? with that being... said, Zencu is absolutely the best one I?ve had the pleasure of eating at. The variety is large, and the quality is amazing. Thesauces, the fruits, the meats? all incredible. I had 4 different kinds of sushi here (shared amongst others), and there wasn?tone I didn?t like. Not to mention the service, it was great. Very kind and patient waitresses. If you?re looking for anauthentic sushi experience with the best sushi in the country, this is the place. Amazing sushi here. The fish is really fresh. The rolls are pretty big portions. Everything tastes amazing and goes well. Pretty... much the best sushi I've ever had except some of the rolls are pretty spicy. We ordered a little too much and the price came outa little high, But you only need to order like one or two rolls per person honestly. We got literally like seven rolls andeverything came out amazing. Not a single miss. The vibe and ambiance is lively and The service is phenomenal.
