Ordered chicken kabob plate and a combo plate, they added onion in their tabbouleh didn't expect that, and their hummus has too... much of an onion flavor but the cucumber salad is fantastic and their rice is good too. The drinks are Pepsi products so expectthat. They serve hibiscus, lemonade and cucumber mint lemonade which needed a little water bc it was too sweet. Can't believe I'll find the chicken of my dream here in LA. The best grilled chicken I've had in 10 years of my life!! I got: -... half chicken plate + rice - kabob plate (beef & chicken) - baklava IMO you can order anything but THE MUST is absolutely theirhalf/full chicken. It's super juicy, fresh, aromatic, perfectly seasoned, every adjective you need to describe D E L I C I O US!! RICE - it's very soft, has a hint of taste and still remain soft even after refrigerate + microwave it. You also can't gowrong with hummus here - seasoned and tasty. LOVE THEM!! Ordered in store take out yesterday spent $36.00tritip/shrama and kabob combo plate meat small portions of meat overall. Cold... containers salad package with hot meat falafel balls placed in bag with cold cups of garlic and tahini sauce so after 15 minswait they put cold items with hot prepared items Unacceptable and not worth the $ nor wait. Stopped by first time for their Grand Opening celebration and it's refreshing to have a Zankou Chicken open in downtown LA. ... Food is great as with the other Zankou locations and the staff was well trained and extremely friendly. I like how loyal thepatrons are and it speads to the good food and service. Will remember this spot next time I'm in downtown LA again. Read more
Mediterranean food, chicken skewers, rice, cucumber salad and hummus is what I ordered but there is plenty more where that... came from. I like the drinks too, I bought the lemonade just add ice! Good eats! Read more
