Overall we loved the food, the ambience, and the price point. They food also came out super quick? we ordered mint lemonade, a... shrimp garlic bowl, 2 chicken bowls, salmon bowl, and a chicken platter. We all love the food. My friend who got the salmonbowl didnt like the fact that there were no salmon chunks and pieces. There was only a paste. I asked for my platter to replacethe sushi roll with crispy rice cake and loved it. I highly recommend this place?. Everything there is pretty and yummy Read more
I love coming here. When you enter your eyes start to feast on the interior of gorgeous plants and random paintings before you... even look at the menu. The menu is big but all the items are full of flavor and bright colors. I was super sad when the currykitchen around the corner closed but so happy that many of those menu items moved back to the flagship location. Portions areVERY generous, be prepared to leave in a food coma and definitely get a cookie to go. Their cookie selection is very unique andevery cookie is soft and chewy like someone?s mom made it for the school bake sale. The neighborhood has a lot of character sotake care where you park but there is plentiful street parking just in front of the restaurant. Enjoy! Read more
I always walk by this place, today I finally decided to try it. Wow I definitely wasn't disappointed! I haven't been satisfied... with any other meal in the neighborhood as much as I am with this restaurant. The beef plate was about $16.50. It was so muchfood that I couldn't finish it; beef over rice, two pieces of spicy salmon crispy rice, a big tasty salad (I love that theydidn't skimp on the smelt egg), a few pieces of cookies and a small soup!! The plate was a larger portion, tastier, fresher, anda much better deal most of the other meals that I buy in the same area for $20/$25. I can't believe I haven't been coming herethis whole time! I'll definitely be back! Thank you Yuko Kitchen for being a fresh, tasty, healthy, and affordable option inDTLA! Also, its got a hipster-esque vibe with the plants, art, and handwritten writing, but I definitely noticed acooler/fresher atmosphere in the restaurant and I don't doubt that it's the all plants and the large fan. Nice touch! Read more
A tad pricy compared to other places, but I wouldn?t complain since the food quality is pretty good! The ambiance is beautiful... with the vibrant wall art and greenery. The cashier was amicable. I would highly recommend the Spicy Salmon Rice Bowl, but wouldavoid buying the Strawberry Mochi Cookie? it was mid. Overall, great first-impression and would definitely visit again! Read more

Searched for a cool place before going to see L7 at the Regent across the street? This was absolutely on point and even better... during happy hour! Tasty Asahi beer, lightly breaded Fish and chips (not usual fries? great!) and tempura lightly fried broccoliwere perfect and very well priced. Vegan / gluten-free cookie with an easy water Americano spot on! Perfect way to start theevening after a 90 minute drive from South Orange County. Staff was excellent as well and atmosphere/music was perfect. Thankyou!! Read more
