They might have the best Sushi in Silver Lake but the service for people that order online is ZERO. My advice is if you want... their food DO NOT ORDER TO PICK UP/DELIVER. Serious I waited an hour and a half for my food and the only reason I got anyresponse is because I asked numerous times. They weren't crazy busy and not once, I repeat not once did one of the staff ask ifthey could help me. I also thought that maybe the owner would say "I dropped the ball and forgot your order" but I gotnothing...if you look at my other reviews I have never complained, I like to give honest reviews. I feel for people that workfor postmates, Uber eats, etc...as they are the ones having to veg for your food at places like this...We ordered at 8:25 andgot the food at 10:05 that was 8 items which they left out one...Sorry for the rant just as restaurants need good reviews theyalso need to hear about where they can fix things. Ugh.... it hurts to write this review because I don't live in the area and miss it so much already! First, they have valet... parking which is super convenient for this area, especially on a Saturday night. But it does come with a small fee. My friendand I had her pup with us, so we sat outside and they were super accommodating with us having the pup. Even brought himwater! Prices were pretty decent especially for what we ordered. We had the sashimi combo to share, tempura appetizer andseaweed salad. Everything was on point. The sashimi though was excellent quality and SO FRESH. Came with some Japanese stylepickles and seaweed salad on the platter, the seaweed salad is delicious. The tempura was standard, but goodnonetheless. Service was good. You can definitely miss this spot the first time around but definitely worth your stop. This humble space is extremely warm and... inviting. From the moment you step in and get waited, you are greeted by the host, management, and the chefs. Everything isreasonably priced: from meals to individual dishes. The Sushi is so fresh, you can see, taste, and savor it at every bite.Moreso, it is a treat to see it being prepped across your table. Service was quick and very attentive. And will be returningsoon. It used to be my favorite go-to spot for sushi in Silver Lake. I order usually once or twice per week. But their prices went up... since my last order in March 2022. They might think people don't notice but I do. I was about to order delivery tonight (4/3/22)But when I backtracked previous orders, and compared them, I noticed almost everything I ordered in the past 5 years went up byup to $2 bucks on previous orders. That's sneaky. How they think people don't notice the price increases on almost every itemescapes me. Probably Brandon's fault for this ridiculous inflation but I refuse to pay more for less.
