Boqueria is a great tapas spot! The atmosphere is warm and open in a way that's great for dates, celebrations or families.... They're able to accommodate small groups, and it's not catered to a certain crowd either. I really enjoyed the seafoodpaella--one of the top places in the city for the dish. It's a good, quiet and a clean place. But the problem is that, it's short on employees and for some reason, they seem out of... it. Some don't even say "Hi" or not even a "Have a nice day". It's understandable that being nice doesn't pay the bills, but asmile won't hurt. As for the food, the Chicken Bowls are good. Haven't had any issue with the food. Read more
I come to this location just because it's the closest one, the second closest is going down Washington which I'll probably start... going to. I understand it's a restaurant and for some people it sucks to work their, but common, some customers are having agood day and don't want to see the workers with attitude and faces at customers. The cashier(female) way of approaching thecustomers when taking an order is just awful. I guess it's just evening/night shift. Doesn't look like she wants to work their.And the way she serves the food, basically tosses the plate is intolerable. Btw the avocado that was served on my plate wasalready turning colors. Not right!
