When I first went here it was so good The food the vegetables and everything and it was very healthy. But now the food is not... that good like it used to be The Meat tastes funny/wired The chicken and beef was too dry and it didn't have good flavor ittastes like it's been in the refrigerator for weeks and you take it out to microwave it. It taste Stealed and old. The bestthing on the plate was only the Orange and the Salad and the rice sad cuz I came in for the Chicken and beef but both sucks. Here at 830 - looking at the sign that says "open til 9" - and they're CLOSED... Not closING... closed. No one is in there, so... they probably closed at least an hour early. if you've read my other reviews you'll see that THIS is why I praised the Alhambralocation as a "stand out"... Just doing the basics like honoring hours and maintaining consistency. Go there, they'lldefinitely be open. Check out the other review, I eat here often enough to know which ones waste your time. I usually go to the one in Lincoln heights but I was around the neighborhood so I got some here. honestly they give you sooo... little chicken and beef! It may look like a lot after I cut the chicken in small pieces and the meat and I added some teriyakion top that may seem like theirs more meat. but it was honestly very little portion on (meat&chicken). Overall the food had agood taste nice in the inside just wish they added more. Read more
My husband and I were regulars here. We came here often that's changing as of tonight. Tonight I was walking by with my 7 year... old son. No money on hand. I went in to ask if my son can use the restroom as he did the pee pee dance at the register. Thewoman turned us away because I couldn't buy anything today. She said "I'm sorry but our restroom is for customers only, I cangive you the key but only if you order something right now and we'll get it started while your in the restroom." I told her thatI unfortunately wasn't carrying any money on me so she turned us away. We will not be eating here anymore Read more
I'd give this place no stars at all, except it was relatively clean so two stars for that. The food is pretty awful. The "steak"... was little more than stringy shreds of something resembling meat, absolutely drowning in a sea of teriyaki sauce. The sodiumintake on that alone is frightening. The chicken was slightly more edible, but just as disappointing. Tiny, rubbery bits ofchicken, on top of weirdly mushy, incredibly overcooked rice. If you must venture in there, get the salad and not the veggies.The steamed veggies were so undercooked and ice cold, that all I could do was sort of push them around the plate. If nearly rawcabbage, broccoli and carrots are your thing .....go for it. As for the staff..not the friendliest or most attentive.
