I?ve been consistently dining at this restaurant for over five years. It always delivers quality food. People might say the... prices are a little high, but the ingredients are so fresh, all natural, and no artificial flavors. Worth it everytime. Farathas been consistently gracious and professional. Everyone who works there has been so kind. Read more

It?s good. Quality products. Unfortunately way too expensive ($25 for pho including taxes and tip) to be a sustainable favorite.

I found this place while looking for a nearby place that sells pho and went as soon as they opened at 5pm for dinner. You have... to street park with paid meters and the restaurant is a bit difficult to find in the dark due to no obvious sign and there's asmall decal on the glass entrance. Two of our families got seated and I thought the place was extremely bare in terms of decor. If you asked me what kind of genre of food they might sell based on the inside, I'd have no clue, ha. Anyway, we got the menuand I was shocked to see a beef pho selling for $20.45 and all other dishes being at least $16. As an Asian, I've been tocountless pho/Viet restaurants and prices are usually half of what you'd find here. I suppose Atwater Village area is too hipfor my wallet. I ended up ordering that pho and a chicken rice dish. With one waiter handling both dine-in and take-outcustomers, we waited 20 min ish to get the food while the togo folks seemed to get their food faster. The pho was actually tastyand warm with good amount of beef. The rice dish was pretty decent, but I thought it was slightly bland. So after +40 dollarsfor two dishes and some for parking meter, I came out with my hunger satisfied but I still think it's too pricey compared toother Vietnamese restaurants. By the time we left, there were quite many customers dining in, but at first, it was dead silentwithout any music and waiting for food felt a bit longer. At least the food was tasty, enjoy! This place IS amazing and I've been eating there for at least 6 years now. HOWEVER, not sure what happened (maybe they changed... owners?) but they recently changed the recipe for the Turmeric Rice Plate (w/ Chicken) and it is sooo disappointing. Before, the plate used to come with shreds of juicy dark meat (chicken), red onions, and side of fish sauce. Now, it comes with chunksof (somewhat dry) chicken breast, no red onions, and a side of SWEET & SOUR sauce. A totally different recipe and flavor :( Iwon't be getting that dish again. For that reason, 3 stars. Read more

Bottom marks for value, flavor and service Prices were ~2x what a normal vietnamese place would run and food tasted like... someone who had never had vietnamese was in the kitchen. Beef Pho was $20 - Bahn Mi $11 Food was light but super bland and farto expensive. Lemon Grass Beef was also overcooked and bland. Ordered the fish salad which arrived after we finished ourmains. Also tried the fish noodles. I would recomend the place across the street, not because I have tried the food butbecause its rare to come across such poor execution of vietnamese cuisine as you find at Viet Noodle Bar. Read more

Very good. Tumeric fish and noodles was Great. A little dill was a surprise. Mild flavors, well executed. The pho is also very... good. Best lunch I've had for awhile. Read more
