Over price and the tacos are horrible ???? too expensive 6 dollars a taco and no taste to it. First and last time.

Taco Trio - Baja fish, carnitas, beef barbacoa/ 5 ????! The Danny Trejo success story is an amazing one. I love that he has... turned his life into an example of American entrepreneurship. I was at The Orignal Farmer's Market and was craving tacos. I havebeen meaning to try Trejo's Tacos for some time so I thought it would be worth a try. Very tasty and well made. Everythingtasted fresh and all three tacos had plenty of fillings. As you eat your way through, Danny Trejo's iconic look stares back atyou from your taco plate. Some day I'll research and explore the abundant taco spots around LA but until I'm ready to do a deepdive, Trejo is a person I respect and I trust his foray into the tacosphere. I originally thought this place would be gimmicky but the tacos are actually serious business. Packed in like Kim K's 9th butt... surgery. The Young jackfruit taco is a solid alternative to meat as well. There was poor reviews about quesadillas and such, butit's called Trejo's Tacos not Quasi?s Quesadillas. Well done Machete. Read more
Intriguing flavors and a fresh take on Southern California tacos. I told myself I HAVE to grab some of Trejo's Tacos next time I... find myself at the Farmers Market and I'm not already stuffed to the gills. So, I did. I just ordered two tacos to get an ideaof what we're working with. I stuck to the classics when ordering two of my go-to-tacos. Carne asada and a fish taco. First, thefish taco looked gorgeous with a huge piece of fried fish, some green sauce and what looked like pineapple and tajin on top.The fish was super light, flaky and crunchy, but really didn't hold much flavor. I honestly tasted the grease in the batter overanything else. The sauce and topping made it better, but it didn't hit like most fish tacos do and felt like the flavor justwasn't there. The carne asada taco was delicious and had some tasty flavors that are a little different from what you normallysee in Socal carne asada. It was a bit on the salty side though. Tortillas were a bright spot as they seemed homeade and hadgreat texture. For the few moments I was able to enjoy Trejo's Tacos, I was intrigued by what other flavors they could offer andI plan to figure that out soon. Read more
Ordered Chicken and Spicy shrimp Tacos - both felt cold and mediocre. Have had better Tacos elsewhere. The young jackfruit... burrito that my wife ordered was pretty good, for something vegetarian. I am disappointed that chicken and shrimp tasted nothingwhen compared to Young Jackfruit burrito. Read more
