Best Italian restaurant in LA, and it's not even close. Everything is excellent, and the service is superb.
What a wonderful weekday dinner. Loved the atmosphere, a nice little space to relax and have some drinks and delicious food. We... started off with the bruschetta on pizza crust, which is amazing compared to regular bread, because all the tomato actuallystays on! I’m from the east coast and it reminds me of a similar bruschetta pizza I would get in NJ so that was great. Pastawas amazing, I suggest anything with the vodka sauce. Pasta was delicious and done perfectly. All in all a great experience andwould go back Read more
A wonderful restaurant that has stood the test of time. The food is still as good as when it opened - same taste , quality... and Andre still serves with the same warm attitude , sharing great suggestions with a warm smile. Try the rollino, farfallasalmon and save room for dessert. And still reasonably priced! 5 *****standard! Read more
Had one night in LA - luckily chose this place to be my dinner spot. Absolutely gorgeous! Was welcomed by the staff so well,... who made me feel right at home! A complementary entrée arrived once I ordered. The outside seating was amazing. The musicplaying set the mood right! I ordered the Arabiata Penne, and man, that was the best Italian i have had in so long! I ordered aMerlot for the wine… the person handling my cheque refused to charge me for the wine too! If only I lived here, I would havecome everyday!!! Thanks guys for a wonderful night. Read more
Great Italian food. Great options for everyone. Another local restaurant I have been to so many times. Perfect for a casual... Italian dinner. If you want to dine-in parking can be a little hard. The portions are OK. Their pizza is good, but the pasta isthe star of their show. Personal favorites are the mushroom rigatoni, pumpkin ravioli, and the arrabiatta. I am not avegetarian, but the flavors in their dishes are very well put together. I've also had their penne with sausage and lasagna. While both were great, the mushroom rigatoni and pumpkin ravioli are just amazing. I use the free bread to soak up the sauceeverytime! Read more
My pink vodka pasta was okay, and the grilled chicken laid on top was pretty bland. The sliced bread that came with a nice... olive oil containing red peppers was basic and dry. The waiters were not attentive (I had to keep asking for things, likenapkins, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, pepper, more water...). They also never said "thank you" or "you're welcome" when I wouldaddress them with "excuse me Sir" "thank you Sir". I expected better from this highly recommended restaurant. Read more
Always a favorite for well made pasta dishes and pizza. Great service and desserts too!
