My partner and I had our first date here 20 years ago. The place still has the sane vibes and punk rock charm. The food is still... consistently delicious. The service is great, food came out quick. I highly recommend this spot for a date night, group dinner,or a late night - after concert 4th meal. Classic L.A. staple. Read more

So I?m a first time visitor of the establishment, and I?m extremely disappointed, as a black woman, I?m here with two guests,... and the server was just being so nasty and so disrespectful. All we wanted to do was get a to go order and they?re saying thatwe need to leave our table and wait at the bar. However, we are black and he was giving so much sass? Why is that necessary, noone else is entering the establishment right now, it?s not busy, so what is the reason for us to get up out of our seats. It wasthis guy was pink hair. I?m not sure what his name is but overall very low rating because I?ll never come back. Verydisappointed, cursing at customers. Such a disgusting behavior, I?m disgusted, will post a story on my TikTok @iyareee the guysname is supposedly Charlie but I think he was lying. Read more

A fun and eclectic environment with great food. Vegetarian and vegan dishes available that do not lack flavor. We love the veg... and shrimp pad Thai, crispy tofu, crab wontons and cucumber salad Weekends you might have to wait awhile for a table, but bepatient, it?s worth the wait! Prices are good, the service also good but the parking can be challenging sometimes. Don?t forgetto checkout the urban punk rock graffitied bathrooms, even if you don?t need to use the services, the walls tell hundreds offunny tales. Enjoy! Read more

This was recommended by friends that have been dining here for years. Very cool restaurant decorated with vintage finds that... evoke fun memories of times gone by. Our food was delicious though felt over priced for what it was. Our bill did surprise us. Perhaps this is normal for this area. Read more

Absolutely loved the place, the entire ambiance and decorations and of course, the food was at the next level. Portions are... generous hence it allowed us to share and taste different options. From noodles to soup or fried rice, everything was exquisiteand spot on, capturing the original flavors. Btw, parking may be a challenge however there's always a side street available. Iwill visit again for sure, next time I'm around LA. Read more

I haven't been to Toi in about a year and it's so nice to see it hasn't changed. The food is always great, and the atmosphere... inside is like I've never seen before, and the happy hour menu is delightful! Can't beat a $5 large hot sake Read more
