Went yesterday with some friends to celebrate a birthday. Service and food were good and I would have given 4.5 stars if it... wasn't for the way they mask the tip and deceive you to double tip. The receipt they present for you to sign only included anoverall amount (in which they already include a tip/gratuity THEY'VE set without your say) and it doesn't state the individualitems or tax. They are purposely presenting only an overall amount with an additional tip line for you to double tip. I had tospecifically request the receipt with all items to verify this. They label their first tip as "gratuity"... which by definitionis a tip.. how about you show transparency to your customers. Read more
Great food and service and a nice view. Nice athmosphere and if it's getting colder at night they switch on their gas heaters.... We ate 4 meals there and everything was realy delicious. We are conditioned by german standart and we would come back any time. Read more
GREAT DTLA ROOFTOP- went here with coworkers a week ago. Very cool space to enjoy some great cocktails, food, views, and music.... The menu is fun and the food we ordered was great. The service was quick and helpful. They have a pool to the side. Willdefinitely go back now that’s it’s roof top season! Read more
Well...the food is way over priced for what you get at the roof top. The burger was good my Mango Margarita was very tasty????. ... I'm sure there are better roof top spots better than this one downtown. Oh wait! I did check out he Speakeasy on floor "B"basement was pretty awesome good vibe call 1st to find out the theme is for the day. Sat 5/15/22 was a Womens tea party 5? starsfor that one. What a fun rooftop dining/bar experience right in downtown LA! As a cookbook author, I always enjoy eating out and appreciate... good food, nicely plated. The Rooftop did not disappoint. I had a drink at the bar ( a lovely Moscow Mule) and the ahi tartarealong with the peanut noodles the first night and enjoyed it so much, the second night I had the Ahi tartare again with thebeet salad, then a glass of red wine and the beignets with warm raspberry sauce for dessert as the sun was setting over thecity. Everything was well composed, super fresh and perfectly cooked. I would absolutely come back. The view is amazing, theservice professional and the good really delicious. Well… nice atmosphere. I placed an order and waited for about 20 min, just for the waitress to come back and tell me what I... ordered was not available… I had to pick something else on the fly and it wasn’t necessary that good… We also had thislady (probably the manager) sitting on the other side and staring at me as if she was rushing us so she could close the place(they were closing in any 30 min I think) not a good feeling lol. Good views! However the host disappointed us by not giving us a table closer to the glass wall inspite of prior reservation and... especially when there were quite a few vacant tables. Although food was great but Service was ok, they didn't had everythingwritten on the menu and said no for a couple of items we ordered. Read more
The Rooftop @ Wayfarer is a whole vibe. The rooftop was super chill. The waitstaff was very attentive. Honestly I had the best... espresso martini ever courtesy of Blake. The salmon was perfect, the pork belly in my Brussels spirits was tender andflavorful. The new Chef there is legit. He let me try his signature chorizo stuffing which was heavenly. It was Thanksgivingwrapped into one dish. If you’re in DTLA definitely come how to chow down and vibe out with some drinks. Read more
