Lots of fun but the dressing room for the artists had the FOULEST ODOR EVER! It was really bad, almost unbearable. The staff was... great though! After the live performance, the Dj played a song I requested as it was my and my husband\'s 4 year weddinganniversary! Thanks guys! We really appreciate you! Read more

This is a VERY intimate venue. The bar service was quick for the volume of people they were serving. A major plus about the... venue was that you could go in and out during the show to smoke or whatever and they had some tables out there as well. Theyalso didn\'t seem to mind the people with their herbal remedies outside the venue, which was cool. The only reason I didn\'t 5star the venue is because of the layout during the show. It\'s like half seating half standing. The booths were nice to havearound the edges but the tables in front of half of the stage made it kinda awkward to get into the show.\n\ntldr: Cool venuebut there were tables on half of the floor in front of the stage. Went to see a few bands Saturday. A pretty solid group. The staff was friendly and quick to serve and help. I wish they had... better glassware for the decent whiskey selection they had but that\'s just me nitpicking for my specific preferences. Parkingwas decently easy but it was also not too crowded inside. Not a bad place to play if you\'re a band wanting to spread yourwings. Read more

My partner and I went for the Quarters of Change concert. Upon arriving we were greeted by a line (6:40PM). Google states a... 7:00PM opening time and the concert stated a 7:45PM start but doors and admission did not start till roughly 8:10PM, so timeswere a bit confusing for us. Show up early if you want a good place to stand/sit. If you\'re okay with standing/ sitting at thebar (~10ft from stage) then you can go near admission time. Staff were nice and the venue was cozy and had many lights and alive DJ before the live performance. There is an option to reserve tables in advance so if that interests you do that. Loved theperformance and I have no complaints about the venue other than it can be a bit hot during a live band performance. Beers wereabout 8-12$ each. Read more

So many reasons to not endorse this venue if you are going to play there. From the communication to the actual show my whole... experience was poor. For example they had the band\'s name wrong on the website for about a month. Everyone was emailing lettingthem know it needed to be corrected up until the week before it was finally corrected. Do not waste your money paying for soundrecording. Take your own microphone or recorder you will be better off. On the day the engineer was so rude when asked if wewere all set for recording the show he did not respond and literally lifted his finger and pressed record on the sound board. Itwas so awkward I just walked away. I did not get one word of communication between he and I throughout the night for reasonsunaware to me. I am sure he treats everyone like that because I did nothing to be treated like that. I am a professional. Fastforward to getting the recording and it is terrible. All vocals and no instruments. The instruments are barely there likedrinking a La Croix. So much attitude for a product that is not even usable. Asked for a refund and got 1/3 of the money backper the management\'s decision. What a waste of time and money. Read more

Small place, but with a lot of character.\n\nThis Bar and restaurant in LA usually encourages young talented musician to perform... there.\n\nWe actually visited there as we were supporting the performance of a dear friend. They have a lovely line uppractically every day of different talent which is nice to engage with and encourage.\n\nTo our surprise the food was alsosimple - but delicious, good drinks and not expensive.\n\nCan become a regular hangout for someone who lives close by. This place packs so much music history and LA culture iconography that if you’re a musicophile or love a good bar with a... personality, this is definitely the spot to hit up for sure. You’ll be greeted an iconic mural of Charles Bukowski who livedin the Pico neighborhood and frequented The Mint in his day. Once you make it into the club the decor, staff, sounds and smellsand lighting will tell you the story that’s entirely yours to tell. Either way, it’s a memorable music joint. Check insometime.\nDefinitely Hope to come back and check out the vibe during Grammy week.\nP.S. Plenty of street parking if you’redriving btw. Read more

The Mint is everything great in a local music bar. A large bar to order drinks, comfortable booths to sit and watch a band, a... large dance floor, and great drinks. The history of this place is amazing. I can remember seeing Brian Setzer and having himwalk over and do shots with us. Our visit to watch Guitar Jack was a flashback to my party days of yore. Even the food isclassic ‘bar food’. Read more
