Friendly staff, decent eats before the concert at the shrine auditorium. Got spinach dip, burger and chicken sando. All decent.... Not out of this world but still really good. The potato chips are made fresh are super tasty and the bartender was very nice Read more
We walked here for an early dinner here after a USC tour. It was good we came around 5:00pm because it filled up with a... conference group right after we were seated (indoor/outdoor seating). We ordered The Lab Burger and Alligator Andouille Sausage, which were both perfection! Pay attention to which entrées come with chips and which with fries when you order. The staff wasreally friendly and helpful. It's very close to the USC hotel, so a great option for visitors who would like a delicious, easydinner. Read more
This place is cool AF. I?ve been here two or three times, but this is the first time I review it. I was here for the Rams v.... Saints game and I had a great time. The ambience is nice, and even though it?s a college hangout spot, it still keeps a coollevel of sophistication. The ?bar food? is elevated and prices are reasonable. As far as the food goes, we ordered (seepictures) the spinach dip and that was amazing. The little croutons they give you to dip with are out of this world highlyrecommend it. We also tried the nachos with steak and that was just as good. It?s rare that you find such good food from acollege bar, but the steak was perfectly cooked and the whole thing was seasoned as if it belonged in a high end Mexicanrestaurant. The wings were not far behind, we had the Thai chicken wings. the only problem with those was that we wanted morebut we had to leave to go to the game. We washed it all down with a bucket of beers and a few cocktails. The beer was fine, just bottled Modelo, and the cocktails were good by all accounts. Whenever we?re in the area, we?ll come back to this spot. It?s legit. The food is top notch, the cocktails are good and the beer doesn?t cost you an arm an a leg. Definitely give it atry! Read more
Limited vegan options but good nonetheless. The edamame was superb! I couldn't stop eating it! Servers are friendly. Music can... get a little loud, making it tough to have conversations without raising your voice or straining to listen to others that aren'tright in front of you. Read more
Spinach artichoke dip is A LOT and comes with donut-like bread (not very crispy). It?s like dipping a plain donut into butter...... kale salad on the other hand was refreshing and nice. Good location, service, and atmosphere otherwise but overall food wasn?tspectacular. Read more
The ambience is cosy and very nice, located just by the university campus, and close enough to the California science centre to... come for lunch if you're planning a visit there and don't want to eat at their cafe. The decor is science inspired, as the namesuggests but that's as far as they go with the lab theme. The offer is good, as the quality of food (I had the best fries witha ton of guac over, and the portion was big enough for two!). The staff is friendly and professional, and the service fasterthan the average. It's a bit on the expensive side, but just slightly above the average for a lunch place. Read more
My take on this for those thinking good place before USC football game. If you come early you are good. However even ar 3 hours... before a game on Friday night it was crowded. All seating was taken and my son and I just got lucky to squeeze in with a group. So for a relaxing time before game...plan to get there like 4 hours before but then you need to keep buying drinks andfood. The food was surprisingly good for the chicken and burger sandwiches. Skip the spinach dip. The pita chips weresoggy. Tvs for sports environment, not as many as people say there are. Especially if you are outside Read more
