Reviews for Terrace Dining Room at SLS Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, CA
We stopped in for Happy Hour and ended up staying for hours, drinking wine and catching up! Their tartare selection is... fantastic, the oysters and ceviche to die for... lots to chose from for both seafood and meat lovers and outstanding quality. Wewere also lucky to get the manager, Anna, for recommendations. She is truly knowledgeable about the menu and clearly passionateabout the service industry and the hotel itself. She took the time to understand what we were in the mood for and made sure thatwe had a memorable experience. High level service and high level quality food is a combo rarely found nowadays in LA. Highlyrecommended! Read more
Great ambiance. Beautiful outdoor terrace. Feels very secluded, away from the cars and traffic. It?s a hidden gem!
Worst experience I?ve ever had at a restaurant in my life last night and will be contacting corporate today.
I was beyond bummed when I heard the Bazaar by Jose Andres was closing at the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills. For over a decade it... fed the hungry stomachs and curious minds of many a food adventurer looking for something interesting and exciting in the LosAngeles food scene. It was a sad week for all of us Angeleno food-lovers as it seemed like yet another fantastic restaurant hadfallen victim to this pandemic that has rocked the restaurant economy to it's core. Then, like some weird ray of butter-soakedand perfectly-seasoned sunshine (I know that makes no sense), I heard the news that the same innovative chef team and top-notchservice staff were all remaining to forge a brand new restaurant in it's wake. I was beyond excited to see what this interestingopportunity would mean for the venue and what it means for the passionate people behind it that decided to not just roll withpunches, but roll up their sleeves and fight back. I've been to the Terrace Dining Room twice now. Once for dinner the secondnight it was open (I told you I was excited) and just recently for their new brunch service and both times the food wasincredible, their service was excellent, and the experience was seamless. Sidenote: Other restaurants could learn a thing orfifty on how to properly take care of their guests and staff during this new Covid-19 era, by paying this place a visit.Everyone was seated with social distancing in mind, the staff wore masks and face shields, and the menus seemed to be printedfresh, not barely sanitized and reused from the previous guest. All good things in my book. The atmosphere of the dinnerservice was wonderful and one of the best outdoor dining experiences I've had recently. The drinks were all top-tier andexpertly hand-crafted with care and the food...oh the food. Whereas the old Bazaar dishes were incredible, I always felt myfocus was taken by the shock of HOW to eat a dish and how experimental it was (looking at you Bazaar caprese salad), wher Read more
