Beautiful rooftop restaurant above Eataly with generous seating both indoors and out. The food was good but felt shy for a... restaurant that has such a beautiful ambience. The pasta were not cooked all by the way. The presentation wasn't a bit sloppy. The conserning part was the utensils were dirty. (Picture attached) What takes the stars to no more than 2 however is theservice. We didn't get water until after 15 minutes of sitting down, got our appetizers much late and simply couldn't get holdof our server. When we did interact, it was a non apologetic standard service offered at a restaurant of that caliber. What tookthe cake is we had to wait for over 20 minutes to ask for our check. It was a disappointing experience. Read more

It took me 5 years and a bunch of stairs to finally get to Terra. The restaurant with a rooftop. It was beautiful. Trees and... plants throughout the rooftop. We casually walked in with no reservations but I would suggest making reservations. The guys atthe hostess stand were amazing, we started at the bar and then they gave us the best table on the rooftop. Pretty lucky. Wetried a pasta, the wood fire appetizers, got some bread with unique butters, had some cocktails and got a bottle of wine.Everything was amazing They do change the menu to cater to the season. Perfect for a date night, great weather or summerevening. Read more

First time in this rooftop restaurant. We came at a busy time but service was fast and efficient. The drinks were cold and... refreshing. The grilled octopus and the arrosticini were our favorites. I thought mutton might be gamey but the meat was moistand savory. We also liked the salad, pasta with mushrooms and seafood pasta. There was no room for dessert! Read more

Good rustic food and wine. Bread, salad, and pasta were well done. Steak was a little underwhelming for being cooked on a wood... fire. Waitstaff were warm and welcoming. Read more

This is for the restaurant Terra, located on the 5th floor in Eataly. Location: go through Eataly all the way to the back, then... take the stairs or elevator to the 5th floor. Validation: bizarrely, this restaurant does not offer parkingvalidation Service: mixed. Front of house was extremely rude and unfriendly. Our server was professional, but not friendly. Didnot explain the menu, and was curt. The next waiter was very pleasant however Food: shockingly awful. Pasta was so overcookedit was stuck together and mush. Was also steaming and too hot to eat initially. Waiter insisted it get sent back and was lessmush but still over cooked. Was also bland. For the price of the meal this was extremely disappointing. Both dishes ordered weredisappointing. No bread or complementary dishes. Drinks: excellent. Highly recommend getting a cocktail though they areextremely expensive. Mine was $22. Was the highlight of the meal. Ambiance: nice. Indoor seating with outdoor deck area. As youcheck in they have a large grill you see them cooking various things including steaks. Overall: most important thing is foodand being that this was disappointing, expensive, and with mediocre service, cant recommend. Read more

Good environment for small groups - has a nice outdoor area for dining. Food was great, would recommend the Chef's Selection... cheese platter. For dessert, the gelato with Cannoli crumble was delicious! They also have a great selection of wines andcocktails - I liked the Marigold Spritz. Giving it 3 stars for service though. It was difficult to get servers attention, andnot very friendly. May be because they were so busy during the holiday period.. Read more
