One of my all time favorite places in LA. I wish they didn't remodel the inside though, it was so nice before and I think they... wanted to make it more accessible for white people. I can’t even eat my tamales. I bought 4 tamales for me and my girlfriend, just a quick grab before I start getting ready for... work. The chicken tamales I got taste like soap. My girl on the other hand finished hers and she got the pork one mainly becauseshe’s hungry. But as one of the many line cooks in the field, my advice for this business is ALWAYS taste your food beforepushing it to the line and please get better at food handling.
