I came here once a few months ago and was underwhelmed. I decided to try again and was pleasantly surprised. Food was much... better . Quality and meat was delicious. I've been eating here once a week for over a month because the food is that good. Ilove this place now. Read more

Loved the Taco Spot. But, the taco shells are flaky, greasy and fall apart, (this is after two recent purchases), and the potato... tacos, what happened, chunks of boiled potatoes. Quality down. Come on, your'e the Taco Spot. Pick it up. Read more

One of my go to restaurants in Eagle Rock. Nice place to sit down and enjoy your food, inside or outside. Lots of options... including vegetarian and kids meals. The flavors are exactly what you would expect. Some reviewers complain about price, butforgot that this place is on Colorado Blvd. I love that they serve breakfast all day. Read more

Clean and vibrant interior. Could feel the spice in each bite of my steak plate. I had a great horchata to wash it down. They... served some of the best guacamole I have had. I ate mine all fresh but my friend was confident in saving half of theirs forlunch tomorrow. Read more

See LIVE REVIEW of Taco Spot @ "Doctored Reviews" on YouTube Good experience with takeout at the Taco spot. Ordered a variety... of tacos including chicken, carne asada, and pork. Overall, a good taco but it is missing a few essentials to make it a trulyamazing taco. Pros - Guac included, good onion to meat ratio, cilantro Cons - It needs a bit more acidity/moisture - probablyin the form of some lemon/lime. Also too salty, especially for the chicken. Read more

My friend introduced me Taco Spot for vegan tacos a while ago. We finally got a chance to give it a try on a Friday night. Not... that many people here dining on a Friday night, assuming many people were out for more of a special dinner. This is afamily/kids friendly place. Most customers are families. Staffs are super nice with great services. There are many vegetarianoptions and they can be made vegan (leave the cheese out). Unfortunately they do not have non-diary cheese. As other regularMexican restaurants, there are many delicious salsas for additional taste. Prices are fair considering the portion of food youget. Each dish prices from around $7 to $10. I got veggie taco without cheese. It's 3 tacos with rice and beans. Not a bad deal. The taco is good especially the sautéed spinach adds more interesting texture on it. We also ordered Tofu burrito bowl.Marinated tofu was pretty good. Overall we like the food here. You do need to add salsa into dishes to make it more flavorful, but I think it's still good. Parking in the rear. And the restroom is unisex. Applause to that. Read more
