very confused about the hype. I ordered the 3 eggs breakfast, eggs over easy and they came out warm, not hot, about to be cold.... All the food came out cold. hash browns were not fried as t all, they were like scrambled wet shredded potatoes. 2 stars becausethe people working were nice. Although it was obvious we didn't eat the food and our server never checked in to make sureeverything was alright. We paid and left. Cost around $35 for food we barely ate. Save your money and go to literally any otherdiner. UPDATE: MGMT contacted me and was so kind and apologetic about the food. They refunded us for the full amount. The food was good, typical diner food. They don?t serve alcohol cocktails (they wine based). Insecure shot an episode here. Had... fun recreating the scene. Make sure you visit here on your California LA tour. They did, however, allow me to get a big glass ofchampagne. Read more
A nice, classic american restaurant next to the Beverly Laurel Motor Hotel. The place is clean, has a nice style and super... polite staff. The food is great (breakfast, launch, dinner, all of them), the prices are reasonable, and I really liked thepayment system, nice and easy. I'm sure I'll be back next time when I'm visiting Los Angeles. Read more
We ate OUTSIDE in the Land of the free home of the BRAVE! Food came in timely manner & service was good. A strange experience... for my family & I knowing there is discrimination & segregation taking place in my hometown. Read more
I was staying at the hotel next to the Swingers Diner and we decided to go for breakfast. Best decision ever. Their omelets and... hashbrowns were so good. We also shared a pancake which was amazing. They also had the best iced chai. We had such a greatexperience that we came back for dinner. The stuffed grilled cheese was really good. We also took their vegan rice crispie treatto go, so good. This place is great to go to if it?s 1 am and you?re hungry. There?s a decent amount of vegan options including the burrito and... wrap which were really enjoyable. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of meat on the menu though and some of the pictures theyhave in their menu and what not are a bit derogatory and sexual. I would go here again if I wanted some decent food and nothingmore vegan was open. Read more
Cool diner, friendly staff. As I?m a vegan, I don?t really find a lot on the menu in Diners but at Swingers you got a lot of... vegan meals (not options, real meals!) like pancakes, tofu scramble w/ soyrizo and breakfast burrito. The orange juice was?ntfreshly pressed but the food was really good. Would recommend. It was a bit pricey though, but it?s located in Hollywood so youdon?t really find places that are much cheaper. Love this place. Delicious vegetarian food and friendly service. Try the mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, the homemade... veggie burger, the vegan Cobb, and the stuffed grilled cheese. Yum! Read more
