#Sushi Nabeeya was a nice surprise. I went looking for affordable sushi for lunch and stumbled upon Sushi Nabeeya. It?s... definitely classified as a hole in a wall type place but it?s pretty good. Their fish is fresh and their rolls are pretty onpoint. I purchased the sushi deluxe combo and the Sun & Kiss roll and that was plenty of food. I?m definitely adding SushiNabeeya to my restaurant rotation. Read more
I lived in the apartment building right next door for several months and was addicted to this place! The sushi is so fresh and... made to perfection. A true hole-in-the-wall delicious sushi spot. The chefs are very down to earth and kind as well. The headchef memorized my name and said hi whenever I walked by out of my building. I especially recommend the Chicken Bento Box,Washington Roll, and Salmon bowl with rice. Everything is good though so you can?t go wrong. Read more

This was some of the best sushi we?ve ever tried! Eating out on the sidewalk and enjoying conversation with others also eating... there was a highlight of our day on the city. We had the Crunch Roll, the Washington Roll, Salmon ????, Garlic Edamame, PotStickers, & a side salad with House dressing. We've been wanting to try this little hole in the wall for some time now. We made it to downtown today and found our way here. ... The host was friendly and helpful. We ordered a Chirashi, a sushi assortment and a couple of rolls. Based on the reviews, I hadhigh expectations. However while it was good, I didn't find it great sushi. My main issue with the food was that the sushirice was dry and undercooked. I got a few crunchy rice grains with each bite. The fish was also good, but not great. That said,I paid a lot less here than even in the typical sushi places in Sun Valley or North Hollywood. Definitely a lot less than inLittle Tokyo! So for the money, it's good value. I should say that the miso soup was perfect! If I come here again, I wouldfocus on the rolls and not worry about the nigiri. Read more
