My partner and I came here recently for my birthday dinner and we absolutely loved the food and drinks. The staff are lovely... too. The pork Milanese, ginger thyme lemonade and banana split were our favourites. At the checkout, you can vote for aphilanthropic organisation you wish to support. Next time we want to try their bread. They have a really cute outdoor space with seating but we enjoyed the ambience inside overlooking a bar and kitchen, a... fireplace, nice open ceiling with beams and lanterns. The hostess and all the staff were incredibly friendly. We enjoyed ourfood and did not try the pastries that were on display but they looked homemade and want to go back to try those next time. Superba is a casual spot I visit regularly on weekend nights with my girlfriend. The food is top notch, interesting, surprising,... unusual and the portions are robust. The staff is incredibly well chosen, polite, kind, engaging, informative and fun. The decoris eclectic, but Hollywood funky, stylish and spacious. The wait staff is informed, attentive, and everyone we’ve had has beenextremely friendly and engaging. I won’t try to be a restaurant critic, but all the dishes we’ve had have had no shortage offlavor, excitement, and attitude. They’re not shy about the recipes, and each one has a decidedly strong point of view. Thatis something my girlfriend and I both love! My children took me here for my birthday, And I’m so glad that they did. It was the best experience. My only regret is that I... had never heard of it before. It is the most charming place with a beautiful courtyard, if you choose to sit outside, and Anamazing indoor space, if you choose to sit inside. When we arrived at the restaurant it was drizzling so we decided to sitinside. They gave us a table right in front of the fireplace. It was amazing! The menu is great - they have something foreveryone. They have a raw bar, A good selection of veggies, and a lot of choices for those that are gluten-free. There is manyoptions for those that are not vegetarian or gluten-free as well. They also have a pastry cart that they bring around Withdelicious choices. My daughter is gluten-free so she had the salmon. It was so delicious and very light. I had the Superba grainbowl. I normally don’t eat that healthy but it really looked good to me. It was a beautiful bowl of brown rice, kale salad, Aperfectly soft boiled egg and almonds. I added chicken as well. I really loved this dish But next time I will add avocadosinstead of chicken. My son got the fried chicken sandwich which he really enjoyed. The food’s presentation is beautiful Andthe service is great. They really try to give you a great experience. We usually go to Superba + Snacks in South Pas and love it, but we just moved to Hollywood so definitely wanted to try this one.... It exceeded all expectations! The space is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service was impeccable. We had the HamachiCrudo, Moroccan Pancake Plate, and Slow Cooked Eggs on polenta (the best one out of the 3 in my opinion if you like a little bitof spice). Oh my gosh! What a very nice,efficient and tasty place! We ate at the Hollywood location on Sunset blvd. We sat inside but they... have patio dining as well. Reservations are recommended if you want to eat outside. The service was impressive and superfriendly! I enjoyed the Brisket sandwich and my wife had the fried chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwiches were on freshbread and just amazing! We will go back! Read more
