DISAPPOINTED BIG TIME. Im still unsure how this place got 4.5 stars review. I was expecting some good sushi bites so decided to... come here to try but this place left me with huge disappointment. We got two $45 multi course meal but it was not worth it ATALL. Theres too much rice with a thin piece of fish/sashimi. I had to cut the rice in half for all the sushi/rolls. If you wantto eat rice with yuzu sauce/soy sauce for $45, this is the place for you! I was so happy when they told me our course was doneand brought me the check. I couldn?t wait to get outta there. This place is way overrated so save your money + TIME and gosomewhere else. They had a good service though servers were nice and attentive. Read more

Went in on a lunchtime so quite a wait since it is a first come, first serve basis. But they have a good waiting spot and will... serve you drinks anyway. Very fresh servings and good diversity on their Trust Me menus. Nice vibe inside the restaurant aswell. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of sushi available in the sushi box. The sushi rolls were really good and... the sashimi tasted fresh. The edamame that came with the order could use more seasoning, but I was really happy to see all thecondiments that came with the box. Overall, I would recommend visiting SUGARFISH, you won't regret it. Read more

The quality of the fish here is some of the best I've had. Customer service was great, the host even let us move tables after... initially seating us in a smaller table. The sushi is served "omakase" style, this is a traditional Japanese dining style inwhich the chef provides a meal tailored to your preferences based on availability, budget, taste, and seasonality. You canorder a set menu or let the chef decide, we went with the latter. Got to try different fish I normally wouldn't order and Ireally liked most of it. We will definitely be back in the future! Great service in a very nice atmosphere. A good sign of service is that your glass of water is filled up all the time without... noticing the staff. Easy and good menu with several options. I would recommend a "taste" menu. It gives you several of nicedishes. Sushi - very nice pieces to grab in a bite. Simple and sophisticated flavors. Sashimi - this is something you need tohave here. Good prices and the food comes out super quick, but still in a nice rhythm (when eating a "taste" menu). Read more

This is, quite litetally, some of the freshest, tastiest sushi & sashimi I have ever had. The "Trust Us" tasting menus are the... only way to go, as they are as delicious as they are beautifully prepared. Went early and was able to get a seat right away andthe experience is worth every penny, and then some. Read more

Now this was an experience I'll never forget. The sashimi was fresh and our male waiter with teal and/or purple hair was kind!... Order the chefs choice! They have valet for $4, which isn't bad when given how difficult it is too park in the neighborhood. Theatmosphere was dimly lit and cute! This place has great eel, bluefin tuna, and salmon. I wish they had pickled wasabi, but itdidn't dull my experience. The blue crab handroll was to die for! Read more

At first I was hesitant about coming here because chain restaurants typically carry a negative connotation. However, this place... had a plethora of positive reviews so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Their set menus are amazing - greatflavours, fresh fish, and well worth their price. The dishes come out very quickly and staff is very kind. The interior is verydimly lit and makes the experience sentimental and calm. They only go by a first-come-first-served basis and we did not have await at 7pm on a weekday. Read more
