Was in the LA area taking care of some business on an early Saturday afternoon & decided to stop at this "Reserve" location on... the drive home. I was hoping to get something unique I haven't tried yet but the menu had so many items marked as sold outwhich was a letdown. I guess the supply shortage is still very relevant? I noticed they did still have available theIced Hazelnut Bianco Latte which I've had several times out in Palm Springs. I've always enjoyed it out there but that's becauseit's always tasted good out there. This was a very subpar version of what I've had before. It really just tasted like a weakhazelnut latte. Weak in hazelnut & coffee flavor. My two star rating of this place is for my drink being a letdown as well asthe staff definitely not being the most friendly Starbucks staff I've encountered. They weren't really rude just not welcoming &no real service. Also inside the food display case I saw several flies just flying around. They are located on the corner ofSunset & Mohawk St. Adjacent to Chipotle & The Habit. Parking lot is in the back/side & shared with these as well as otherbusinesses. I found parking right away but it is LA so it was pretty busy. If you've never been to a Reserve location, theinterior is much more impressive & design forward than the usual Starbucks, but not as impressive as a Reserve Roastery like inSeattle. It did look like they used to have two individual coffee bars in use before (pre-covid). The whole place kinda seemslike that. Like a business just barely opening up or on the other side, closing down. There were a good amount of both inside &outside seating available. Based on this experience I do not plan on going back here. I enjoy Starbucks but they are at least adime a dozen. Cheers! Read more

Nice Starbucks with high ceilings and a nice classy decor. They have select coffees that aren't offered in normal Starbucks.... They also have different brewing methods and "experiences." If you're a coffee lover you'll be into it. I'm a casual coffeedrinker so I couldn't fully appreciate it. Service is good and my coffee drink was very good. Read more

Starbucks are ubiquitous in every city street, and town which has become part of our everyday life. However, not every store is... created equal in interior design and space. This Starbucks Reserve store is located on the corner of Sunset blvd and Mohawkstreet in Echo Park neighborhood of LA. And I have known this location since they opened in March MMXVII. This newish Starbucksstore is a reserve bar w/c means that it offers Reserve coffee, elevated methodologies such as delicate pour over and uniquebrewing, and also offer food meal. I came here copious amount of time and always had a good experience. It?s interior space, decor and modern architecture layout (see fotos) were impressive. Similarly, it?s outdoor nirvana patio is as good as itsindoor. I came on an early Friday morning to grab a tall coffee and raisin bagel cc. I was warmly greeted by staff and took myorder. Coffee and toasted raisin bagel cc were perfectly made. Service was moderately fast. Staff were amiable, hard-working andfollowed health protocol. Prices were consistent. Rear parking lot is available and street parking as well. Overall, I had agreat order experience and coffee/food. I highly recommend this Starbucks location. Read more

I strongly recommend the Cold Brew Malt. Unlike most Starbucks locations, they have ice cream for milkshakes, prepared in the... most unusual way (see photos). They actually pre scoop the ice cream and wrap each scoop in paper. The malt is the mostdelicious coffee milkshake I've ever had. It's very spendy at about $9, however. Also, they have several coffee preparationoptions including Chemex and Siphon. (My preference is actually French Press, but the Siphon is such a dramatic presentation ofbrewing coffee.) The staff are great and coffee is spot on. It's a premiere Starbucks Reserve location with some offerings fromthe Starbucks Reserve Roastery chain they started in 2014. Read more
