Really good food! The French toast was to die for and the ginger latte was surprisingly delicious. Service was great. Some of... the tables inside are a little too close together, but thankfully it wasn't that busy when we went. I would definitely go back! Read more

Simply perfect. Pricey($$$) but worth every cent, seriously. I went for breakfast, coffee was SO fresh and strong with a good... personality. I got the 2 egg breakfast and YOU HAVE TO TRY THE BREAKFAST POTATOES! Eggs were perfectly sunny side up. Theirlemon ricotta pancakes (although I did not try them) looked INSANE. They apparently have cocktails and brunch drinks as well.Excellent place! Read more

The food, served family style, was good and plentiful. Friendly service. Colorful, bare bones decor that has seen better days,... framed posters and Cuban tunes adds to the authentic atmosphere. Beats the tourist traps in the neighbothood. Read more

It was a solid brunch meal, but certainly not anything spectacular, and in a city like Los Angeles, there are countless options... out there that are much more appealing and appetizing than this one. In fact, if it weren't for the delicious matcha lattehere, I would've rated it even lower. The cafe is very cute, it's in a little building on the corner of Hyperion, and has asmall parking lot, which is nice in Silver Lake, where almost no one has parking. We came around 2 in the afternoon, and wereable to get seated right away. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a tuna sandwich to share with each other, and they were bothvery generous portions, although the food itself wasn't that remarkable or appetizing. The breakfast sandwich was FULL of eggand it overpowered the other elements to it, and I honestly didn't find it all that appetizing. We also got potatoes and friesas sides, and they were both pretty good. The best part of the meal was the matcha latte, which was perfectly smooth anddelicious and felt amazing to drink. I'd come back just to get another one of those from here. As for the brunch itself, however, it was quite lackluster. Cute cafe with delicious matcha and a solid but rather average tasting brunch menu! Oh yeah, and one of the waiters was super cute as well! Read more

The food is pretty good, and that with all honesty is the only reason we come here sometimes. The herb omelet with goat cheese... is my recommendation. That being said, I only gave 3 stars because the place attracts people with kids, this might actually aplus if you have kids, but not for me. Also, the waitress brought the check so early on, while we were still eating and feltreally rude, I mean I might have want to order a muffin for dessert... We'll never know. Worth it if: A) You a have kids(6-12) B) Or you don't mind eating good food around badly educated kids C) You order to go Read more

Personally, I enjoyed everything about my visit to square one. My chicken sandwich was delicious, my latte was perfect, and the... little sidewalk tables allow you to sit and enjoy the weather in the shade. My companion wasn't as fond of their meal, althoughto be fair, they were trying something new so it may not have suited their palette. Four stars for the price, a small brunch fortwo people was almost $50, but I will return for the best fries I've had in a long time. Read more

Delicious spot for coffee and breakfast. Despite its location, it tends to be much less crowded than the other location across... from the Scientology headquarters. Read more
