We made a reservation for a party of 7 at the bar on a Friday night so we didn’t have to wait. Street parking. Got their 4... and 5 piece roll set. They were good (but nothing extraordinary), but we weren’t big fans of the snapper roll. One thing thatI noticed was that when they made the mistake of giving the same roll twice, they would take it back even after they’ve put iton our plates. It felt a bit unsanitary because they didn’t discard it after taking it back, which was odd since the roll hasalready been placed on the plates that we touched our chopsticks with. Read more
Cute patio. they have yummy hand rolls but they don’t serve toro anymore. Hope there will be more fish options on their menu.

It's my favorite takeout sushi place. The fish is always super fresh. The presentation is immaculate and food-focused, no... frills, comes with everything you need. The sake and wine pairings available for takeout are also perfectly complementary.Discovered Sogo during the pandemic, so I haven't yet dined-in, but it's only a matter of time. FUN, QUICK, SUPER TASTY This is a great spot for a good experience as well as tasty hand rolls. I ordered the 4 Roll Set and it... was definitely enough food for mid to high level of hunger Each roll was super tasty, and a few of them were spicy with Yuzu-itin the combination. I will be coming back to try a different roll set as well as their Sashimi. As an avid sushi and tea lover,this place hit the spot! Read more
Hands down best Roll Bar in Los Angeles. Their fish is always fresh. They have the best yellowtail and Toro. I come here at... least once a week! They have a good selection of wine and sake. Read more
I enjoyed Sogo for lunch yesterday. I ordered the 4 roll special. The food quality is superb but what really makes this place... interesting is the presentation and preparation of the food. They just opened and are only open for lunch. There is no take outoption and their entire seating is a dozen bar stool seats at a counter. There are three stations behind the counter with two inuse during my visit. Each roll is made fresh directly in front of you and served to you one at a time by your sushi chef. Eachchef appears to be in charge of 3 to 5 guests and they make one roll per guest down the line then repeat until each order isdone. I got the Gluten Free 4 roll set which came with Cucumber Avocado, Snapper, Salmon, and Scallop! It was simple, fresh, and... delicious. Scallop was definitely my favorite of the 4. I really appreciate that they have an option for us gluten free folksand made sure to include gluten free soy sauce in my to go box! This was enough food to keep me satisfied but not full. I wouldprobably get the 5 or 6 roll set next time to try more of their options. Read more
