Reviews for Rascal in Los Angeles, CA
The service here is outstanding. Prices are appropriate for the quality. I see why this place has so many good reviews.
Everyone talks about how flavorful the meat is, but the burger was funky tasting (we got a reg. burger) and everyone tried it... since my kid said it tasted funky they were right. My husband and adult child got the fried chicken sandwich and the sauce wassour (the description said spicy) and coleslaw was okay. My Grilled Chicken Club (minus the bun) was awesome; juicy chicken, flavorful bacon, the avacodo and tomato was very fresh, but the arugula was a bit over dressed but still tasty. The soda is overpriced ($4 for a single bottle of Coke) but it was okay. Read more
Cute, inviting atmosphere. I ordered the sliders without a side and regret not ordering a side. While the sliders were AMAZING,... the portions are small and not enough food to be eaten by themselves. The meat is flavorful and the sauce was a bit spicy butsoooo good. I will be coming back. What a great little place I stumbled into! As soon as I walked in I felt at home! In a city full of pretentiousness, it's always... nice to find a place where you feel welcome. I strolled in after reading about their great happy hour and was not disappointed. There was plenty of room at the bar and I was welcomed as soon as I sat down with a menu. I ordered the red sangria and thefried chicken and gravy with a biscuit. Both were fantastic and very reasonably priced. The service was also exceptionallygood. Everyone was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back and next time I'm bringing others to enjoy the sameexperience I did! Read more
Food was so fresh. The staff was friendly and sociable. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.
