Only ordered three things from this place, siu mai, popcorn shrimp, and cucumber salad. We thought we ordered Dan Dan noodles... but it never came. First of, the interior of the restaurant is actually nice, albeit the condiment section on the table was alittle dirty. Second, the service is just average. Nothing to write home about. Third, the flavors of the dishes wereunderwhelming. Now I've had many siu mai from around the world and I have to say this is the blandest one I've ever had in mylife. Even the cucumber salad, which I always order if I see it on a Chinese restaurant menu, was meh. The popcorn shrimp tastedlife it was store-bought (the texture of the breading was off, like it was undercooked). The Chinese tea served is cheap and anaffront to Chinese tea culture. I do think this restaurant has a lot of potential, seeing as it's mother company is a famousrestaurant chain in China. I think, the flavors were toned down for the intended market in the area. Food was good. Especially the noodles. My only suggestion or recommendation for this place would be to order ahead. I went on a... Saturday afternoon and absolutely no one was eating inside but I saw many pick up orders. Also it took about 15 minutes for myfood since I did not order ahead bc I was just in the neighborhood and wanted something to eat and decided to try this place Read more

Just ate here for the first time recently. Won ton noodle soup. Sesame buns. Lions head meatballs (a rarity)! All delicious and... fresh! This really is a hidden gem of an authentic Chinese place in the Mid City area. I will be back regularly! Read more

This is some of the best Chinese food I?ve ever had! Not too salty, fresh and delicious. Lightly oiled and somehow healthy in... spite of being fried! (The Taiwanese popcorn chicken and Singapore fried rice noodles w/ shrimp were both ????). Deliverythrough the restaurant was free also. Huge portions- a couple meals-worth. Will be reordering ???? The food was great and I really enjoyed it all. It?s nice to see a place that has a special, like free red bean buns for... dessert or a 13oz Thai tea. I really enjoyed it. The Singapore noodles were really good, and the pork xiao long was amazing aswell. Scallion pancakes were alright but I would get again. Def coming back. Staff was very friendly. Read more

Pretty solid dumpling joint but nothing amazing. For me, the spicing is a bit bland across all items I've tried (dipping sauces... included). Parking can be a bit tight, they have a few table outside for dining 'in'. Worth a try if in area and you have acraving. Read more
