Reviews for Prince of Venice in Los Angeles, CA
The bolognese was tasty ? I don?t think you can go wrong ordering this! We were a bit surprised at the prices for what looked... like a very unassuming pizza place at the entrance and front counter. However, the food was well-executed and with decentportion sizes. I was a little startled that the grated cheese had been applied before it arrived at our table, but hey ? it iswhat it is. The courtyard dining is great, and I hear that they have live music. Will be back again sometime for a second try. Read more
Unfortunately Underwhelming It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I had been so excited to try this restaurant... after seeing the publicity it has, and fell way short of expectations. The courtyard has an amazing atmosphere in the heart ofwest LA but the food is overpriced and far too bland. I ordered the Black Truffle pasta and the ?breakfast pasta? (ham and egg)and was extremely disappointed with both dishes. The Black Truffle pasta was definitely better if the two but my god for $25 andprotein is an extra charge, the flavors should have been better. The pasta on both plates were extremely bland and sauce wasafraid to offend, and stays on the safe side. There are far more better Italian restaurants than Prince of Vince for the sameprice. I wouldn?t discourage anyone from eating here but don?t expect amazing Italian food as it seems the dishes are afraid toexpress true Italian flavors. Read more
The cacio e pepe is fake - they didn?t use pecorino at all so the flavor was really off. The primavera pasta was okay, but the... caprese salad and pizza were good. Read more

Ever since my daughter started at UCLA, this is our go to place. Peter is a great owner, cook, and carries on a great... conversation. I especially like the vodka sauce pasta, it's amazingly delicious. Everything I've had is truly great. Going backtomorrow, can't wait. O, and they have a great Italian like patio, you won't be disappointed! Read more
We were there for a birthday celebration. We were a party of 13 people. They accommodated us very well. They have a nice... courtyard lit with fairy light in the plaza inside. Furthermore, the chef was kind enough to make us the chicken pesto pizzafrom scratch even though it was not in the menu because many people in the group didn?t eat pork and beef. He even came laterand asked us how the food was. It turned out to be very good. The vegetable pizza was also really delicious. We had a reallygood time here. Highly recommend this place. Read more
If you're looking for authentic Northern Italian food, this place is amazing! Seriously some of the best pasta and pizza I've... ever had in LA, and it's so reasonably priced. Seems like the place is family run and has a cute patio in the back. Willdefinitely be eating my way through their menu! Read more
